Summary: Headmaster Cid and the SeeDs have grave matters to discuss regarding the off-worlders. As it seems, more of them are coming... and not all of them have good intentions for this world.

[As usual, Headmaster Cid's sitting at the head of the table for this meeting. There's no newsletter in his hands, but instead clippings from various newspapers around the world loosely pinned together by paper clips are in his hands. Cid scans them over with a worried expression on his face. There's a gray folder in front of him, presumably with more clippings and articles.

The moment everyone's seated, Cid lowers his papers and glances around at all the faces gathered.]

Thank you all for joining me today.

[He clears his throat.]

By now, I'm sure most of you have heard the news from the other cities. Reports of strange weather and strange people have emerged over the past week or so, and we've been asked to investigate them.

[At this point, he glances particularly at the off-worlders present.] We're to patrol various spots around the world - for instance, a few miles outside Dollet as well as the area around Deling - and take care of any threats deemed harmful to the townspeople.

Each region will have its own commanding SeeD and two other party members assigned to join him or her. [Although Cid looks weary, he does manage a smile for the sake of the other SeeDs.] As these supposed Sorceresses seem to be off-worlders like most of you here, I'd like to request more information about your homeworlds immediately after this meeting. For now, however.... who'd like to lead one of the expeditions or join them?

[ooc: As we established here, villains like these have started to appear in various parts of the world. For those of you who play SeeDs or Instructors, this would be your chance to assign your villain to a certain city and have the SeeDs come to him/her.

Just let us know what part of the world you wish to fight your villain in for future reference in this post, and you'll be set! As a reminder, each thread should limit itself to one villain as this post might become a little long. You don't have to pick the city right now if you don't want to, but we do have to determine parties for later posts.]

[Pinkie leans forward onto the table, looking sternly to the Headmaster.]

You want us to stop the CHOCOLATE RAIN?

[Takes a sip of her chocolate milk drink through a swirly straw, still looking just as serious as her question.]

[Cid blinks at her for a moment before thoughtfully tapping his chin. He's taking this just as seriously as she is!]

That'd be preferable, yes... if you stop the rain, then we could perhaps talk about your salary and create a stipend for chocolate milk?

...can we just wait a few days THEN stop the rain? [It might give her time to collect the chocolate herself!]

[Why are they even debating this...] As long as the rest of your party members don't object and it doesn't interfere too much with the other townspeople, SeeD Pie.

I'd like to try to hunt down the Black Holes sir.

But I'll need backup. [He's grim. If this is Blackbeard... really and truly Marshall D. Teach... even his father couldn't face him. And for all of his and Luki kidding around about feeding the man cherry pies laced with so much poison or shrapnel that even he wouldn't be able to handle it, Marco has doubts that it would work.]

[Grell is perched in Marco's lap. No, she does not care how serious this meeting is. No, she will not budge from her warm spot.]

Black Holes? [Peers down to look at Marco. He'll explain that later, yet she could see how serious he is. Never a good sign. She shrugs casually.] I suppose my services can be borrowed to you. [Smirks softly.]

I doubt people from my world would be here, causing trouble. They're not exactly the proactive types.

[Apollo's just leaning against a wall, frowning]

That being said, I'll go where I'm most needed.

[Yukio's frowning deeply, and his brow is creased. He'd read the papers, seen the photos; in fact, he's got a copy of an especially relevant newspaper in his hands right now. Once the headmaster is done speaking, he steps forward and holds it aloft.]

I'd like to take care of these demons. I recognize them as being from my world.

I'll go to Deling. [She's not necessarily volunteering to be commander for the area, but Deling is pretty much her second home on this world; try and stop her from going.]

Then I'm going with her. [It's said a little too quickly for his liking, but he glances back at her with a nervous smile.] I mean, if it's alright, sir.

[Cid's expression is serious, but he manages a fleeting smile for the other two.]

[Cid smiles warmly at the three of them.] Alright. Permission granted for the three of you to investigate the Deling Area.

SeeD Raines, would you mind leading the party? SeeDs Bronson and Evans, I also expect you to return with reports of what you saw during your time there.

[Cid nods and smiles briefly in return.]

That's no trouble at all. I'll provide a full report upon my return.

[She can take a lot of damage and dish it out, too, so after a second, she adds,]
