Characters: Sharpay Evans and Pinkie Pie
Location: Cafeteria
Rating: PG tops?
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Exceeding everyone's daily pink quota Friends catchup!

Even on good days, Sharpay had always found Pinkie Pie... overwhelming. Her energy and sheer enthusiasm for life were hard to match, but they was certainly infectious.

But between awkwardness with Tom, her salary being decreased as she was trying to save money, and Rinoa disappearing (back to her own time, Sharpay half-hoped), Pinkie's contagious cheer was exactly what Sharpay needed. And so she grabbed her friend for lunch in the cafeteria, though she was visibly picking at her meal: She'd never been a fan of cafeteria food, and considering she was eating here to save money, she couldn't exactly pay the cafeteria workers to make her something more appealing the way she did in high school.

"I was in a rush when I saw you last week, but I wanted to tell you: I love the lollipop idea," she said with a grin. "Giveaways are a great campaign strategy."

She didn't mind being ineligible for homecoming queen this year too much, having already won it last year (not to mention homecoming and prom queen back home). This would be her first time supporting a friend in a campaign and not just to help her own, which admittedly had been most of her motivation for making Tom her running partner.

Idly, she wondered if Pinkie would take a running partner. This year's King candidates were... varied, to say the least.

It was so rare to get so BFF time with her girl, Sharpie. Pinkie was going to enjoy this time and be sane for their conversation. Buuuuuut Pinkie didn't know what sane meant besides not taking Gummy with her. So there was that! As for the food, Pinkie eats from the cafeteria only when she ran out of ingredients for her lunches, and this wasn't one of those days. She had her own lunch packed: cream cheese with smoked salmon wrap with a plethora of veggies.

"You think so?! I WAS gonna make a GINORMOUS CAKE bigger than your hair, but one, it wouldve taken away from this week's prep time, and two your hair would have gotten jealous!"

At seeing that Sharpay was picking at her food, Pinkie offered the other half to her pita. It would have been too big for her to eat, and she can always make more food later.

"Then I'll make that one day!" now that she had Sharpay's permission, so to speak.

There was that smile! Pinkie grinned and hummed at the question. "Besides making sure cadets know how to care for their chicobos, not very much! I think I need to head out to the market some some ingredients for my next dinner with Chammy!"

She said that so casually too, taking a bite out of her wrap.

At this point, Pinkie had her mouth full of lunch, so she talked while she chewed. Huh, she thought she told Sharpie about the other dinner date thing that was probably a date.

"'uh! Er'u nn?"

In case Sharpay still needed a translation: "yeah, where've you been?"

"...a thing? I thought we were people?" Pinkie asked after swallowing her food. While she may be a bit more informed when it came to romance, she's still not so hip with the different types of lingo.

Upon hearing the positive feedback about her lunch, Pinkie beamed. "Thank! I REALLY put my foot in it this time!"

Was that just a metaphor?
