The warehouse was pretty big, and maybe half full of people. Namur made a show of looking from one end of the place to the other, and craned his neck up to check out the high ceiling as well. "Think we'll be okay," he winked. Then he cursed. "Be right back!"
Namur skirted around the edge of the crowd and back to his boombox, which went silent as he was heading toward it. For once, being arguably the most terrifying looking person for miles worked to the advantage he wanted, as people tended to get out of his way, allowing him to get back and queue up more music quickly. He set up a couple of longer songs, then made his way back to Maria's post at a more leisurely pace.
"Sheheh, sorry 'bout that," he said. "If I'd a thought a this sooner prob'ly could a found a band or somethin', but I ain't met the right people 'round here for that yet. Been lettin' myself slip I guess."
