With the recently departed Twilight, it was intelligence and magic that made Fionna want to be smarter than what she was.

But with Sigyn, who looked most human of all, there was no question: she had a sort of natural beauty and sophistication that made Fionna feel like a crippled walrus tripping over itself in comparison. She was particularly elegant and striking tonight that it struck Fionna dumb, and suddenly showing up in her shirt and skirt seemed to make her feel very childish in comparison.
