Summary: It's an excuse to pump dance music really really loudly, tbh.

The party was put together ridiculously fast, but everyone who decided to help went all out, and the place is pretty damn awesome. There are refreshments, strobe lights, a loudass music setup, and lots of space to dance. Come on in and have a blast! Garden will be sailing off in the morning, and then it's back to school. Time to get in that last hurrah!

"You know it!" Fionna bumped her hand with the pony's hooves. "I know he's cool and all, but come on, you are Rainbow Dash! As it is, I gotta make sure I keep up with you! Now come on, you gotta dance with me!"

"So long as it's not BALLROOM." Rainbow made a face. Not that it would bem, of course, but Dash herself had shifted into something of a complainy mood.

Fionna faulted. "Oh..yeah, I actually gotta take that class this semester. That's gonna suck hard."

"It won't be so bad. You're already a human," the pony grumbled.

[fionna_time]

"Well...can you show me?"

[elementofloyalty]

"I didn't bring any of the potion," Rainbow said sheepishly. "Didn't think I'd need it. I was kinda looking forward to just hanging out as a pony, instead of having to be human just to learn."

[fionna_time]

"Barf that," Fionna said. "I don't want you dancing with me if you can't be yourself! You...sure you can't show me as a pony? If not, we can just dance something else!"

She would worry about the ball room class when the time came.

"They pretty much made me learn all the ballroom as a human. I guess I can see why, it's just... kinda hard to work as a pony with a human partner." She could admit that logic even as she was annoyed by it. "But just plain dancing, that I'm all for!"

"Oh," Fionna said, frowning. "That kinda sucks, I was hoping I could get some pointers. Eh. Guess I'll have to wing it. I'll probably have a harder time with other stuff anyway."

She nodded. "Yeah, I know! Uh, what DO ponies in your world dance to anyway?"

"Music, of course," Rainbow said with a grin, winging her way towards the dance floor. "I'll give you pointers on ballroom later! For now we just have some fun!"

"Well yeah, but I mean what kin-" ah well, she would find out in a minute, right?

"All right RD, pick a song!"

Rainbow didn't even bother to choose one, just jumped out to start dancing to the music already going. Apparently, the club can't even handle her right now.

Oh, you wanna do that? Well Fionna's got moves too, and she knows how to use them!

[Cue Fionna getting CRUNK]

The awkwardness of earlier was forgotten as Rainbow giggled happily, quite content to bounce around and enjoy herself. She still didn't understand human dancing, even after being one, but hey, if you've got two legs you probably gotta do something with your other limbs.

And do something Fionna was, because this was totally what these kind of parties were for anyway! Which is why Fionna was busting a serious move, all flips and yes, even a split!

Rainbow giggled some more. "You're pretty athletic for someone without wings."

Fionna winked. "Hey, I told you that I was a hero, remember? You have to be able to do all of that and more!"

"Aren't heroes supposed to be able to fly?" Rainbow asked with a teasing grin.

[fionna_time]

"I'm getting there!" Fionna insisted, sticking out her tongue. "One thing at a time!"

"Getting there?" Rainbow scoffed. "How're you gonna get there without wings, Fi?"

"Hey, I'll find a way! A hero doesn't wait to fly though, she goes where she's needed!"

"But what if you're needed up in the clouds?" Rainbow said, poorly pretending to be innocent. She was having more fun needling Fionna than she really ought to...

Oh, she was starting to get it now, Rainbow Dash.

"Maybe I'll have to ride on a certain SEED's back, and then kick butt in the clouds," she said casually.

"Seems kinda wasteful," Rainbow said, nudging Fionna's shoulder, "when I could just go up there and solve it myself!"

"Even a SEED needs help," Fionna pointed out, "and anyway, I've been doing the hero biz way longer than you! You won't have storm clouds to help you fight the enemy or anything like that!"
