Summary: It's an excuse to pump dance music really really loudly, tbh.

The party was put together ridiculously fast, but everyone who decided to help went all out, and the place is pretty damn awesome. There are refreshments, strobe lights, a loudass music setup, and lots of space to dance. Come on in and have a blast! Garden will be sailing off in the morning, and then it's back to school. Time to get in that last hurrah!

"Dude, I have four: arms and legs. Plus, if I wanna punch somebody, kinda helps to be able to make a fist, you know."

Seriously, when did this turn into a pissing contest between them?

Didn't it beat bemoaning Rainbow's failed love life? Besides, the pony was clearly just teasing.

Fionna shrugged. "I'm a hero, one bummed limb ain't gonna stop me from kicking butt!"

"If it was a leg, it would. Because then you couldn't kick with it."

By this point Rainbow was downright hiding her giggly glee behind her hooves.

"Then I would hop and...and...ok, maybe you got me there. I should probably just shoot em at that point."

So she was smiling too.

"Naw, by that point I'd have already taken care of it," Rainbow said with a casual wave of her hoof. "Since I'm faster."

[fionna_time]

Fionna blew a raspberry. "You're not that unstoppable! Twilight's told me stories, you know!"

"I'm unstoppable enough," she said haughtily, though she cracked an eye open to peer at Fionna. "Uh, what'd she tell you?"

[fionna_time]

"Like when you went to Clowsdale to show 'em the Rainboom again," Fionna said casually. "Said you were pretty petrified, actually."

"Cloudsdale," Rainbow corrected. "And that's only because I was having trouble getting the Sonic Rainboom done. THAT's over and done with! I could do one any time I wanted now!"

"Yeah, and what happened when you got all ego maniac and then they were the Mysterious Mare Do Well?"

Rainbow folded her forelegs, squinting at Fionna. "How did you get Twilight to tell all this stuff, anyway?"

[fionna_time]

"We study really, really late," she said, "and sometimes I have so much energy she needs to find a way to get me to shut up. Besides, what do you expect. You have an ego larger than, like, a gorge, but I still think you're the coolest. We wee bound to talk about you."

"When I get back to Equestria, I gotta have a word with that pony about boundaries." Rainbow fluffed up her feathers in mild irritation for just a moment. "She should only talk about the cool stuff!"

[fionna_time]

"It's better to know all about somebody you really like, not just the good stuff," Fionna said, winking. "It makes them seem like real people, and so you can feel like a real one too!"

"And it's even better to find out about stuff FIRSThoof instead of second," Rainbow shot back. "How would you like me telling Twilight about YOUR embarrassing stuff? ...if I could."

"Either way, it doesn't change that you come a long way," Fionna said. "Stories just make people what they are: they make mistakes, mess up, they learn and get up and do it again."

"And then get embarrassed by their previous selves," Rainbow added. "Kinda wanted to skip that part."

[fionna_time]

"You can't escape your past!" Fionna said. "That's what happens when peeps from your world are around! I'd take it though, if I could see my sis."

"You gotta tell me more about your sis," Rainbow said, grateful to seize on any topic of discussion that wasn't how she'd screwed up in the past.

This actually did catch Fionna by surprise. No one had wanted to learn abou Cake.

"Oh, sure dude! What do you want to know?"

"Oh, uh, everything!" She hadn't thought about specifics... "Just tell me some stuff about her, y'know?"

[fionna_time]

"Hmm. Well, she's real caring and junk. Like, if some guy so much as looks at me wrong, she can grow all huge and scary if she needs to! She and I go on adventures all the time, and she's helped me kick Ice Queen's butt plenty of times! She can be scary as a cat though, like on my birthday. She wanted to get me presents so...she kinda gave me the heads of all these small animals. the stains were on the floor for days!"

Rainbow listened to this story with a smile, finding it to be relatively sweet and nice and not about her past embarrassments...

...right up until the last line. She recoiled away with a look of disgust and horror on her face. "Ew! Ewwww! Oh my gosh, why!?"
