None of this was of any interest or made any sense, but Ace didn't care about that - he cared about that smug look the asshole wore, the way he refused to believe in Ace's duty, the way he brushed off everything Ace said, the way he expected Ace to just conform to his view and memories as though he were in the right.

His eyes narrowing was the only warning Ace gave before he brought a hakii-infused fist around, lunging forwards, fully intending to beat the pirate to death and screw the consequences.
