His flustered answer only caused the crease in her brow to deepen. What was he trying to get at? Katara couldn't really follow long with whatever point he was trying to make with the way he was sputtering for an answer. But maintaining eye contact with him wasn't helping matters; in fact, the way his tawny gold eyes looked at her was a bit unnerving, and she had to avert her gaze back down to the kitten before she could speak.
