"That doesn't sound very convincing," Katara commented offhandedly, a smile still curving her lips with how the kittens continued with their attempts to bat her fingers away. The others had begun to try and climb up the leg of her pants, causing Katara to laugh some more.

"If you ever get bored of them, I wouldn't mind taking them off your hand." She was making small cooing noises at the kittens now as her fingers brushed over their tummies, giggling all the more when they wriggled beneath her and tried to fend her fingers off.
