First Not-Date
Characters: Luki and Damian
Location: A restaurant in town, early evening
Rating: PG. They're kids and they're not fighting anybody.
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed, and backdated to over the holidays
Summary: Luki and Damian go on their first "not a date" date. (Ie. an awkwardly cute kid-crush social outing)
Luki had gone out of her way to dress nicely. Her hair was combed a little tidier than normal, with a pink hairclip tucking her bangs neatly to the side. She was wearing a black turtleneck with pink beaded bracelets on her wrists, a knee length pink skirt that matched her bracelets and hairclip, and black tights and shoes. The turtleneck concealed the metal collar that was implanted directly into her spine well. All in all, she was satisfied that she looked pretty good. More importantly, she could still run and play in these clothes if she really wanted to. They were just nicer than what she normally wore. Which seemed important. It was the first time she and Damian would be eating dinner together somewhere that wasn't the cafeteria and they were going to see a movie. Therefore, it had to be a date. That's what dating was, right?
Since she chose the evening's activities (dinner and a movie), the actual restaurant they were going to eat at and the movie they would see were both entirely up to Damian.
