Espio vs Shadow
Character(s): Espio, Shadow, Tobias, Marco, Maria
Location: Quad
Rating: PG - PG-13?

Summary: Shadow is here. Espio is pissed. Pretty much a continuation of this, but in shiny new prose format.
Espio watched as Tobias ran off, wondering if he'd be able to find Marco at all, before he turned to walk back to the Quad.
"Careful. Riiight. Like that's gonna do me any good."
Once again, he adopted his invisibility, and briefly contemplated a strategy. Espio had been working really hard lately to familiarise himself with new skills and techniques specificaly to be able to fight him, but right now? He wasn't anywhere near familiar enough with them to use them in an actual fight. His only option, really, was to stick to tried and true tactics - hit hard, hit fast, aim for the head.
The only problem was maintaining his concentration. He couldn't afford to give away his position while invisible this time - he had to stay quiet. No yelling allowed.
As he spotted the Hedgehog again, he hesitated and recapped what he knew of the guy. He was... super fast to the point he gave Sonic trouble, had enough control over Chaos to shoot beams of it, and shrugged off Espio's last attack so easily Espio might as well have not done anything at all! And that was just in the five minutes Chaotix had fought him for - what else was he capable of?
But Espio couldn't just sit by and let the one who destroyed his reality and killed almost everyone he'd ever known just wander freely around the Garden. He felt a bit sick, from a whole mixture of emotion, but he brushed it aside and finally took a run for it, hoping that a hard hit to the head from behind would at least daze the guy enough for a real opening.
