[It was surprising how well a person could learn to adapt. When she first arrived here Nepeta was certain she would never get use to this new sleep schedule, being surrounded by humans and going to a school of all things. Yet here she was, waking up bright and early so that she could get to the two classes she had today.
She had gotten a full nights rest last night because in recent days she had been feeling a little strange. More so than the feeling, but sometimes she thought she saw things, only to look again and realize there was nothing. She just chalked it up to how she was finally getting serious about her work and how she had been pushing herself.
Fortunately today she was feeling quite good! She was glad for it too, it would have been such a downer to feel bad on her wriggling day. If only she were one to actually look at herself in the mirror, perhaps then she would have noticed that something was definitely wrong. The yellows of her eyes had gone completely black, and gone were any signs of her pupils, leaving instead only a strange white pattern that resembled something like a spider.
So she noticed nothing amiss, simply changed into her usual baggy shirt, jeans and jacket before entering the common room she shared with Ronnae.]
