(no subject)
Character(s): Rikku (
greeneyedmecha), Gamzee Makara (
subjuggloco) and Nepeta Leijon (
bestmoirail)
Location: Their respective dorms
Rating: Buuuh PG for language possibly? Nothing big.
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Two threads. In one Nepeta and Rikku bond a bit after studying together, in another Nepeta finally
For Rikku: [To say that Nepeta had only just barely passed her remedial math class was an understatement. Between barely having ever bothered with math before coming here, and missing so many classes, the only reason she managed to scrape by was because of Rikku. The same could be said for Maria who had helped her in some of her other classes.
Right now she was once again with Rikku, now that she was in the regular Mathematics class. These quarters seemed to pass by so quickly. She felt like she had only started getting the hang of the basics, and now she was being thrust into something more difficult. Well, perhaps it was only to be expected what with this being a military school. Buh. She just wished there was some other way she would stay here and help with the war effort without all this.]
I think that's the last problem. [Small groan and she flops over the table]
For Gamzee: [Nepeta had been lingering outside the door to his dorm going on ten minutes now. There had once been a point where she could barely even think about him without going into a panic attack, and now here she was to do....she wasn't even sure what. It's not like she could talk to him what had happened, since technically nothing had yet to happen in his timeline. She just wanted to some sort of sense of where she stood with him, what to expect from him.
Yet she was still scared, still nervous, half expected when he opened that door it would be not the sweet troll with the lazy smile she had once considered her friend, but that creature that had given into instinct, the one that existed in her nightmares.
But she would never know if she didn't act, would she? So at last, from somewhere she drew courage and knocked on his door.]
