Mikuru beamed, pleased to have gotten not just the right person but an old friend. She was getting far too used to losing friends and roommates to time compression, so actually seeing one again was a lovely surprise.

"Welcome back," she added, her smile growing warmer. "I... kind of forgot how long it's been since you were here..."

For a time traveler, Mikuru had a really lousy handle on time.

"Do you remember what month you were here last?"
