The Nightmare's Beginning [closed]
Characters: Aerith Gainsborough, Edward Elric
Location: Dreams. Weeeeeeird stuff.
Rating: PG-13 for gore, sci-fi weirdness.
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: The future is foretold. (Warning for Final Fantasy VII spoilers)
Aerith was falling.
Falling and falling, further and further into an endless void of blue. It almost felt peaceful, like floating. But her peace couldn't last long. The voices that had been silent for over a year began to speak to her, piercing her head and wrapping around her heart.

Thousands of years of ancient knowledge breached her consciousness, threatening to drag her under. Aerith only stayed afloat with the force of her will...and with the fact that her long floating journey was coming to its end. She spun around, her braid gently floating down seconds after her boots hit the floor.
She was standing on the altar of a beautiul crystal village. It appeared to be underwater at first glance, but she was still breathing. Of course it was only glass and blue-green light creating the effect. Somehow she knew that something important would happen here, and also that people were coming. But who?
