Location: Tseng's Room, (second part) Cafeteria
Rating: PG
Open/Closed/Finished: First part closed, Second open.
Summary: Set after this, Reno met AU Tseng and had a brain break, but after tea he needed something to eat and some time to think about what happened so far.
After the shock of discovering his boss wasn't quite the same as he remembered, Reno followed the man that had an old friend's face to his room to sit down and talk. He didn't care for tea much, but that was at least one thing that was the same.
Ever since he had arrived here, it had been hectic, confusing, and let's just face it, downright unsettling. This planet seemed so similar in ways to his own, but everything was different. Much like the situation he faced with Tseng, actually.
When they got there, Reno looked around, poking at Tseng's various belongings.

Food seemed like a good idea. He needed a good meal after all he dealt with today, so he headed to the Cafeteria and grabbed some sort of soup. Cafeteria food was pretty much the same, no matter what world he was on, he noticed as he took the first bite, sitting in the corner facing outward so he could see all the people passing by. An entire new world to explore, huh? It was sort of exciting, and a bit alarming, too.
Something crossed his mind, and he pulled out a crumpled piece of paper out of his pocket and re-read his acceptance letter from Cid. What did the guy mean about strange powers, anyway? It was something that kept bugging and niggling at him.
Hey, it wasn't so bad. He would figure out this new world; he was a Turk, after all.
