Summary: Soma's getting a bit bored with his assignments from class, decides to work with English instead, and ends up meeting someone new.
Life in the Garden was turning out to be a lot more exciting than he had initially expected it to be. It had taken a while to get the hang of things (and he still had tons to learn) , but at least Soma was able to find his way around the place by now. Classes, though, were a different story. So many new things to learn all at once! And to top it off, magic worked completely differently than what he was used to in this world.

Oops. Better gather th- Hey, is that the dictionary I was looking for? You've got to be kidding me. It was right in front of my eyes this whole time? He could feel a slight heated prickle on his neck, slowly moving upwards as he began to gather up what had fallen on the floor. Being the center of attention wasn't exactly something he enjoyed, no matter how short his time in the spotlight might end up being.
