Summary: Espio rethinks that whole "angry resignation" thing.
For once, the Commander was not neck-deep in paperwork. Oh, she certainly had more to do, but there was always more to do. For now, especially after that sojourn on the Island, she simply sat in her chair with her head tipped back and her eyes closed. Not sleeping -- nor thinking, nor planning, nor remembering. She was doing nothing, and allowing herself to enjoy it, for as long as she might have the luxury.
