Ace just leaned into the fishman and was silent. There was nothing more that needed to be said. It was a lot to take in and process. A lot to have to live with...knowing that ultimately he was going to leave everyone and never see them again. He let a few more tears slide down his cheeks as he closed his bloodshot eyes and relaxed. He felt tension start to leave his body and he supposed he might ask Thatch for a back rub later. That would be nice.

It wasn't long after that thought, that Ace fell asleep. His breathing was soft as the emotional upheaval he had experienced in the past few hours finally took its toll on him.
