Summary: It's an excuse to pump dance music really really loudly, tbh.

The party was put together ridiculously fast, but everyone who decided to help went all out, and the place is pretty damn awesome. There are refreshments, strobe lights, a loudass music setup, and lots of space to dance. Come on in and have a blast! Garden will be sailing off in the morning, and then it's back to school. Time to get in that last hurrah!

"Not stopping you would be helping." Rainbow scowled, mostly because him taking the party hostage had completely altered the tone of her banter... namely, in a way that was making her lose. "Okay, okay, no reason to take out everypony else's fun..."

"So what you really mean is they'll kill me, right?" Still beaming cheerfully, he cracked his knuckles. "Well, I wouldn't worry about that."

Okay. He totally won. Rainbow slumped down so far her hooves hit the ground, and she folded her wings up with a broken look on her face.

"Sorry. You can go."

He looked down, his grin softening somewhat. What was it he'd said this time? Oh, well. He doubted he'd get a straight answer by asking while she was in that kind of mood.

"Don't apologise. You go have fun."

"Well, aside from taking out the entire party, what would you consider fun here?" She swept her hoof from the dance floor to the refreshments to... well, the door, admittedly. Even she knew the obvious answer, but she wasn't quite willing to ditch him yet.

At least he was willing enough to shoot a few obliging glances around in the directions she was pointing - for about five seconds, before his critical gaze locked onto the refreshments table. "That's right, there's nothing to drink in here either," he said, starting to frown again.

"Maybe you could make the punch... less fun." Rainbow smiled -- now here was some mischief she could get behind.

"Isn't that what someone already did?" he retorted.

But after a moment or two, despite his words, he did take a few unenthusiastic steps closer.

She nudged him with a foreleg. "By their definition, they made it more fun. You wanna surprise them, undoing that would work..."

She managed to nudge at least a dry little laugh out of him. It was still mostly baiting, and it was obvious enough that even he could tell, but he couldn't deny this was an easier kind of prank to get behind. Hell, he'd be doing the other minors in the room a favour.

"Just undoing it? You've got no ambition." Off he went, towards the punch bowl. "Let's see..."

"Naw, I just know that if I suggested something too wild, you'd lecture me for half an hour about how alchemy couldn't do that!" Good mood restored, Rainbow trotted after him. "And only one of us would find that fun."

"I can't even hear myself think in here, and you want a lecture?"

On reaching the punch bowl, he peered over at it for a second, before turning aside and casually swiping one of the cups.

Rainbow giggled a little, taking to the air to better watch him. "I figured you could do it on autopilot, like you didn't even need to think about it. I bet you could do it in your sleep. In fact I'm pretty sure you answered a question I had about the periodic table in your sleep, once."
