Summary: It's an excuse to pump dance music really really loudly, tbh.

The party was put together ridiculously fast, but everyone who decided to help went all out, and the place is pretty damn awesome. There are refreshments, strobe lights, a loudass music setup, and lots of space to dance. Come on in and have a blast! Garden will be sailing off in the morning, and then it's back to school. Time to get in that last hurrah!

"That's hardly the same thing. Risking having a good time won't kill you." Well it might kill her. Though he wasn't quite drunk or angry enough to say so. But that was the thing, he supposed. Some people knew how to party and some just knew how to hold up a wall, scowl, and try to ruin everyone else's fun.

Hey, she wasn't here to ruin anyone's fun unless said fun looked to engulf the city in fire and chaos! (And it ought to say something that she believed that could totally happen.) She shrugged. "Thrashing around on a dance floor just isn't my thing, any more than nerding out about gunblades is most other people's thing."

"Fair enough." She could do what she liked as far as he was concerned. He finished his cup and nodded satisfactorily. If people weren't reeling in a few hours he wasn't doing his job right.

"Hope you manage to get a smile or two out of the night anyway, miss," he said amicably enough. Hard to be annoyed with someone with this much punch sitting in your belly.

"Oh, don't get me wrong," she said with a sly smile. "I'm definitely enjoying watching all of you guys out there on the dance floor. That's a show worth the price of entry."

"Then I shall endeavor to entertain you," Thatch said with a ridiculous bow. He didn't really get this girl, but on the other hand he had other and more interesting people to spend time with this evening.

"Have fun, darlin'," and with a tiny salute he drained his third cup and headed back out onto the dance floor.
