Summary: It's an excuse to pump dance music really really loudly, tbh.

The party was put together ridiculously fast, but everyone who decided to help went all out, and the place is pretty damn awesome. There are refreshments, strobe lights, a loudass music setup, and lots of space to dance. Come on in and have a blast! Garden will be sailing off in the morning, and then it's back to school. Time to get in that last hurrah!

"True. Hey, I never got to ask, what other classes are you gonna be taking this trimester? I know we said taht we weren't gonna talk about it, but now I'm curious."

"Oh, I'm taking survival skills, language, defensive driving, self defense, physics, criminal justice, sociology, advanced weapons training, item crafting, theater and art, rock climbing, and studio art."

Quite a mix she has going.

"What about you?"

"Awesome! You'll like survival skills, its pretty fun! I don't think I've taken Criminal Justice yet though! Which advanced weapon training though. See, I'm taking all of these other classes, you know, like Home Economics and Intro to magic and the ball room stuff and self defense, like you. But I'm also taking crafting and art and music with these other weapon training like intermediate weapon training with bladed, blunt and fire arm weapons!"

She smiled as Fionna told her. "Those other ones are good too. The weapons training one is bladed weapons. I already took both of the blunt weapon classes. That's what I am focusing on, blunt weapons, but I like swords too. That is a lot of weapons training classes."

Fionna nodded. "Yep, I'm specializing in weapons too! I'm a hero so, you know, I gotta play to my strengths! That's why I take these physical intense classes, so I can move faster and do more damage."

She gestured to her physique. "Peeps tend to think all this means I can crush you with a sword, so I aim to prove 'em wrong!"

"That sounds like a good thing. It's always best to work on your strengths. It's also good to work on ones you don't know either."

"We should practice some day."

"Well that's what I figure the learning junk is, making me smarter even though it shows me how dumb I am," Fionna said, grinning.

"I'm totally up for that! I can never refuse some sparring!"

"That is true. That's pretty much it seems like. I mean I don't know what else I'm going to do with math and some of the other ones."

She grinned. "Great! We'll have to find a good day to do it!"

"Hey, that's what studying is for! Well, I say that now, but my roomie kinda had to beat me over the head to do it! I'm not kidding...she actually tied me up and pressed the books to my head until I started reading. She was real gung ho about learning."

Which, at the time, Fionna had to respect.

"Awesome!"

And that earns a very odd look from Kory. "Who is your roommate? She sounds a little obsessed with it."

"Oh, ah, that was Twilight Sparkle. I mean, she was trying to be nice about it at first, but she knew if I was gonna learn, it had be the hard way, and she was right, actually. I'm glad she did it."

She chuckled at that. "Oh, I've met her before. I understand now. Well, it is good that she did then."

"Yeah, are you kidding? I needed the tough stuff! I just wish she was still here, you know?"

She nodded. "It is hard to lose a friend, but it's probably better that she return to her home."

[fionna_time]

"Yeah," Fionna said, looking down, "But, it was cool having a roommate not really like me, you know? She was like living with a super smart scholar, and she was willing to look out for me. Even if she's gone, I still wanna learn all that I can."

She nodded. "I understand what you mean and I think that is a wonderful idea. To still try and learn everything you can."

"Well, it was wonderful talking with you, but I don't want to keep you."

[fionna_time]

Fionna shook her head. "Nah, not at all! And thanks, for trying to show me how to ballroom dance. If you're not busy, I'd like a few more, ah, lessons. I don't wanna suck horribly starting out. Namur would never let me live it down!"

She reached over and gave Kori a hug.

And she gave her a hug in return. "Of course! I'd be happy to teach you more! I'll do my best!"

Fionna blushed. "Oh, and uh, I just wanted to say, you know, you look AMAZING today!"

Yeah, skirt and blue shirt didn't come close.

"Oh! Thank you! And you look very nice too." And she gave her a wave before she headed off.
