Goodbye Dollet and Thanks for All the Fish! (backdated to Sept 28)

Characters: EVERYONE!!! And any "local" NPCs you want to make up
Location: A warehouse down by the wharf
Rating: G+? idk people will do as they will do
Open/Closed/Finished: Open
Summary: It's an excuse to pump dance music really really loudly, tbh.

The party was put together ridiculously fast, but everyone who decided to help went all out, and the place is pretty damn awesome. There are refreshments, strobe lights, a loudass music setup, and lots of space to dance. Come on in and have a blast! Garden will be sailing off in the morning, and then it's back to school. Time to get in that last hurrah!

She shook her head. "No, it's not bad. I like being around people and learning more about this world. The Garden is rather self-contained so I like it when go to other towns for break."

"It also means I have to go back some of the mandatory classes I've been putting off. I can't put them off anymore."

"Aye, it is, and to it's detriment, probably." How could anyone from outside get used to them if they were confined to the Garden? Or maybe it was a good idea. Who could say. No use letting his growing resentment about the Garden worm its way into the conversation.

"After you've graduated it won't be so regimented. You'll be able to get away with a lot more for one thing." He grinned and winked at her. "Maybe we can step out for a night or two in celebration, aye?"

That's exactly how she thought about it. It was silly, keeping them separate meant neither the people here got used to the outsiders and the outsiders didn't get used to them. She just nodded.

"Oh I will?" She smiled in response to what he said. "I'd like that. We can definitely go out and celebrate."

"Undoubtedly. And so we shall. Anywhere you like to go and I'll take you. Even to the ends of the earth fair lady." Such as it was. A rare slow song filtered out from the inside and he smiled.

"May I have this dance?"

"That would be wonderful." He had such a way with words. It made her feel special. She really didn't feel like that much except for when people were commenting on her powers.

"Yes, of course. I would be honored." And she offered him her hand.

He couldn't help but charm a woman, especially one so lovely as her. He took her hand, raising it to his lips, though shifting his thumb so as to kiss it and not her skin directly as was only polite.

"My lady." And then he pulled her in close, but gently, slipping a hand to the small of her back to lead her through the steps. "Tell me, gorgeous, do you know how to waltz?"
trainedbywarlords: (smile)

It's okay.

Her smile only grew brighter. He was definitely someone she liked being around. He was sweet. She moved closer to him with a smile, not having any problem with that, walking right along side of him.

"I do actually. I just finished the ballroom dancing classes that they teach."

"Well then..." He swept her into a waltz in time with the music, setting into a pace that was quick enough to be somewhat dizzying but slow so that she would have no problems keeping up.

"You waltz divinely. I'm sure you have the boys lining up."

She certainly didn't have a problem keeping up. She had done well at this class so it really wasn't too hard for her. She twirls along with him, a bright smile on her face as they move.

"Not so much here. Back home there were more. You waltz beautifully as well. I'm sure there are people always wanting to dance with you."
