Summary: Ace no Birthday Party~ Come join the fun~



Despite everything that had been going on, a party was needed and so a party was had. Thatch finished placing the last of the presents on the table, similar to the one they'd used for Namur's party, and turned up the music so as to lure any passersby. The more the merrier, since Ace would like that and who knew how many parties they'd be able to do in the future? And with who?

"'Oo beth...EY!" Fionna swallowed, then gave her bro a hug. "How's it going?!

"Pretty good sis. I'm assuming you just said Happy Birthday right?" He chuckled and returned her hug with enthusiasm. He even picked her up and spun her around once before setting her back down.

"Yeah...ah! Heha!" Fionna didn't ind being spun around, and was grinning.

"Ready for your big day?"

"Big day?" He asked. He wasn't sure what she was talking about to be honest, I mean today was his birthday and as far as he knew nothing else was coming up other than the start of the second trimester.

"Yeah, your birthday!" Fionna said, grinning. "That's kinds of a deal for people here too, right?"

[mera_mera_ace]

"Yeah, seems to be. I mean I never really celebrated my birthdays before joining up with Marco and the others, so it's really comforting to be able to celebrate with my family here too. Makes me not as homesick I suppose."

[fionna_time]

Fionna sighed. "Yeah, actually, that's what you guys are for me too. I mean, I'd be pretty depressed, missing Cake everyday if you all weren't here."

Ace nodded hugged her tightly. "Glad you could be here, sis."

"So am I! So any idea what's gonna happen in this birthday celebration?"

I really do fail at this sometimes. Sorry hun.

"No idea whatsoever. But I can tell you this, with Thatch and Marco in control it's gonna be epic whatever it is. They don't do thing's halfway and it's only a matter of time before something amazing happens!" Ace grinned.

"You wanna dance?"

"Awesome! In that case I'm gonna party as hard as I can! It's gotta be your best birthday!"

What a silly question.

"You know I am!"

"Then let's dance!" Ace said leading her towards the dance floor and letting the music take him away as he moved into the mass of writhing bodies. For some reason dancing like this always reminded him of brothels and orgies..but without all the sex. Either way he enjoyed the fun and the people around him.

Fionna gladly let him lead her onto the dance floor, and once they were there she joined him eagerly. She'd come to enjoy a lot of hobbies that were not native to Ooo, this particular one, though, had always carried over. Thanks to Namur's constant challenging, she had made sure she was at her best!

Ace laughed as they danced together. He wasn't half as good as her in his own opinion but he was nothing to be trifled with either. The beat flowed through the air over the dance floor and led him in a series of gyrating arm swaying motions. God he loved his birthday!

I had an awesome friend make it awhile back. I love it too!

Fionna had no trouble keeping time with him: their dancing wasn't super intense, and she did like the chance to move around and show off how well she could coordinate her movement.

It was awesome, the party, the people, everything! Before joining up with Marco and he others he had hated celebrating his birthday. It was just another reminder that he was alive...when perhaps he shouldn't be. He still struggled with his worth but after everything that had happened in his life and the last few moments he had to look forward too once he returned...well suffice it to say he was learning to enjoy the little things more and if Thatch wanted to throw him a huge birthday party well the hot damn he was going to enjoy it!

The best thing about these gatherings was being with all of the guys (and girls)! they had an infectious energy about the, Fionna couldn't help but want to be around them, talking and laughing and exchanging stories the other was convinced was a lie. With this kind of company, Fionna couldn't help expressing it through her feet, moving her hips, showing them exactly how much better she'd gotten since their last meeting.
