Summary: Once upon a time, Ace and Kamui wandered into a Balamb Town restaurant to eat, drink and get into trouble.

One of the great things about Balamb Town being a tourist destination was the great selection of restaurants. Ace, being a connoisseur of such places, had picked out one that looked good (and in their price-range) within minutes, and had happily dragged his roommate inside. There was food waiting, dammit!

He glanced quickly around, taking in the decor and cleanliness, before nodding, obviously pleased. "I vote we eat here." Good food, good prices, good company. What could be better?

"So you want to take over the newsletter and put out propaganda and baseless rumours for our own senseless amusement?" He smiled sweetly, taking another bite. "I like that plan."

Kamui then chokes on some food at the statement. Does he look like that type of person?!

"Wh-What?! No--" Kamui coughs a bit, trying to dislodge some food that got stuck in his windpipe. Drink please?

Cue hysterical laughter from Ace. You are way too easy, foolish roomie.

"Y-Your f-face-! Haah hahahaa-" Maniacal laughter is Ace's forté. Along with eating, which he's holding off on for now.

/D: Noooo! He needs a room too!

Grabs some water, seeing as Ace was a bit busy with his laughter to pass him some. Takes a few gulps before sighing in relief that he can breathe. Thanks Ace.

"You're horrible." Kamui merely shook his head, not entirely angry, but who likes choking on food?

/he'll sleep in Squall's room. Under the bed. PLOTTING.

"I'm awesome," Ace refutes, managing to calm himself, still grinning. "You planning on writing for the paper, then? Don't know if they'll let you do that, roomie."

/I meant where will Kamui sleep :/ don't burn stuff!

He ignores the 'awesome' comment for now, raising an eyebrow at his latter statement. "And why not?"

"Because they seem to be enjoying doing it themselves. So unless you have a way to force them out the position...?" He raised an eyebrow in return. HA. Two could play at that game!

/I bet Ace would LOVE that :| (there are no complaints though)

"Actually, the head of the Garden Fesival Committee will be graduating soon, and will be looking for a replacement leader."

"...is your brain usually in your stomach?" He gave him a look before speaking. "They aren't the same person, and I wouldn't 'force out' someone. Just change what things are inputted into the articles in the future."

"... Yes?" Omnomnom. "Hey, sorry, sorry. Guess I'm used to the whole 'backstabbing and politics' thing from back in the Marines." He grins a little sheepishly. "Do you even have time for that, though? I mean, it seems like kind of a big job..."

Goes back to eating as well, although slowly. He isn't as ravenous as Ace. "It does seem that way, but the only way I'll know is to ask the current leader." Pauses again and sighs, tapping a finger on the table in thought.

He shrugs. "You didn't have time for the Disciplinary Committee... don't really see how you'll make time for a newspaper on top of that." Still eating, and damn, the food here's good. "Gonna have to learn the fine art of delegation, I guess?"

"I'd hate to have to choose, so delegation would be best," although that is easier said than done in his case. Goes back to his food, or else Ace would eat it.
