Garden Festival Committee Meeting: Friday 1800

Location: The Quad. Because...why not?didn't think of a place!

Open/Closed/Finished: Closed to members
Summary: A plannin' we will go~! Let's make Balamb fun!
Classes had ended, but surprisingly Kamui wasn't feeling all that worn out by them. Perhaps he was eager to get the ideas members shared earlier to life. They were very good ideas too, so he hoped it would be just what Balamb needed.
He was currently sitting on the grass, looking over his notes of their ideas and humming a tune.

Mitsuru walks down the last of the steps to the Quad as she says that. She's looking a bit less severe then before; a generous amount of notes and books peaking out of the opening of her book bag might explain that, as well as that there aren't any fans flying through the air this time.
If anyone saw her double taking at the sight of Kamui and checking for flying objects, then it's clearly a trick of the light. B|She gives a polite nod to him, and moves closer.
"I take it you're a member of this festival committee?"

She doesn't move from that standing position just yet. Sitting can wait until after she's determined a few things.
"May I ask what your aim is for this festival? I will admit, the idea strikes me as intriguing...And similar to something we had where I came from."

He gave her a curious look. "What kind of events were there in your world?"

As well as proving just what a nice
prospective place to send your offspring toschool the Kirijo Group had funded."There were things outside of that, naturally. However, when I read 'festival,' that was what came to mind."

"Did you want to give some input into the Garden Festival? There are already some great ideas, such as Homecoming Week, talent shows, and pageants that were brought up."

"I would be interested. At least in offering some assistance in organizing these things, if that position has yet to be filled in the committee.
Which...I suppose is a round about way of asking if you would allow someone to join, so late."

"Is it similar to a welcoming ceremony, at all? We had something like that, where I come from."

"Ah, well, it is a week of events that lead up to the main event, which would be the sponsorship games. Think of it as showing team spirit to build up the tension up to the games. It...is not like a welcoming ceremony, unfortunately."

He made his way to the Quad, and headed over to where Kamui was.
"Has anyone else arrived yet?"
