Summary: Lavi still hasn't been updated on the whole little Yuu thing. What's up with that? >|
Lavi considered himself to be a very patient young man. He knew all about how events and issues would sort themselves out if they were meant to be sorted out and of course, the fact that he ought to simply observe from the side has been drilled into him from childhood. He has observed too, for nearly two weeks now and no explanation had been forthcoming. How was history supposed to be recorded if the Bookman in training had no clue what was going on?
So, it was definitely time to act. He found himself already tiptoe-ing towards Allen's room while he reasoned with himself why disturbing the boy at four in the morning was much more appropriate than approaching him the next day. First reason, there were classes in session all day and skipping lessons so near exam week could pose some potentially devastating effects on Allen's grades, after all, not everyone had his memory. Second, people were always around during the day and finally third, Lavi was already at Allen's door, so why wait?
The coolest thing about Garden, as he had learned thus far, was technology made for really silent and smooth sliding doors. Really, they were just perfect for launching a surprise attack with. Like this:
"RISE AND SHINE, ALLEN WALKER~!"
He was loud, but maybe something more dramatic would make things better, say flicking the light switch on and off?

"You should have thought of that before."
He had to admire Lavi for his persistent energy though, or perhaps he was one of those lucky few not affected by the nightmares. Allen couldn't be sure though, Lavi's unwavering smile was no less a mask than Allen's careful manners. At least it was already almost morning, whatever Lavi had in mind it'd be good distraction until it was time to head for breakfast without risk of falling asleep too long again.

"Come, come. Move those little legs of yours."
It was almost eerie how loud their soft footsteps were in the silence of the halls. Back at home, there would always still be a few stragglers wandering about be it the scientists or a matron. At least it made reaching their destination much faster without people blocking their path. It also meant they were pretty much on their own in the Training facility.
"Children first," he grinned and shoved Allen ahead inside, "We're going to chat in the Secret Area. Have you been there before?"

He sighed, "You make it sound like you're planning to interrogate me." That would be a familiar situation of course, everything was worth interrogating lately. But at least whatever it was Lavi still trusted him.
"I've been. I got lost in the training center the first week."
