Character(s): Artemis Crock and Wally West
Location: His Dorm Room
Rating: PG-13... ish? Will update as needed.
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Wally and Artemis finally have a long overdue talk. Once they work past all the denial.... hopefully. Will probably switch to prose at some point due to tl;dr, because we're ridiculous like that.
[It's been close to two (or even three) weeks since she's really seen Wally. At first she figures he's avoiding her and she's okay with this, because she's avoiding him too. As time passes though she slowly starts to worry that something's happened to him... again. Because something always seems to happen to him. Stupid speedsters can be way too high maintenance sometimes.]
[So she goes over to his room to check on him. Not because she misses him or anything like that, of course not. As a teammate it's her duty to make sure he's still alive. That's all. There are no mushy feelings involved here whatsoever. Honest!]
[Which is why it takes her a full minute to work up the nerve to knock on his door. Not because she's apprehensive about seeing him, just because she's sure this is a dumb idea and she should just leave. Really this act isn't fooling anyone is it. Either way the important thing is that she finally manages to knock on the dumb door. Loudly.]
You've got five seconds to open this door, Wally.
[See, totally not worried.]
