Summary: FOOOOOOD FIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT


All is calm and well in the cafeteria. People are milling about with their trays, grabbing seats, and chatting with their friends--there's a pleasant hum of noise that fills the air. Despite this, however, everything goes deathly silent when a slice of cake flies across the room and smacks a red-haired girl in the back of the head; the frosting stays in her pigtails as it drops to the floor with a wet squelch.

The cafeteria fills with curious chatter, the swell of noise growing even louder as a cream-filled pastry hits the drama teacher's shoulder. People are standing up and looking around for the culprit now, but there... doesn't seem to be anyone there; others have their hands poised over their own food, ready to retaliate.

Once more, food seems to sail out of nowhere--a slice of custard pie scores a hit on a fluffy-haired boy's arm, and a cupcake just misses the blond head of another cadet, landing with a splat on his table instead. It's the next throw that does it though: a cherry strudel hits some girl in the face, and she gets up with a shriek, throwing the entire contents of her tray on the poor guy the next table over. Cries of "food fight" ring through the air as all hell breaks loose.

And thus, it begins.
