Summary: Ryu and Nina have a talk about their world.

The choice had been pushed back and forth in his head. Here was this woman, who was so familiar, and yet she may as well have been a stranger. He wasn't sure how to feel about the situation. So far, nobody had noticed or said anything about the incident at Vienne mountains. Ryu felt that he was essentially in the clear on the matter, but putting all his eggs in a basket in the past had always come back to bite him. There was trusting Mr. Mason, who gave into Balio and Sunder's demands for capturing himself and Nina. Then the brothers themselves wouldn't keep their words about letting him and his friends go free.

For all Ryu knew, someone could be waiting just around the corner with his bags and a letter, telling him he was too dangerous to stay. The thought never strayed far from Ryu's mind, but Nina's words were comforting to him. At first, he considered leaving well enough alone. Someone who looked like the woman he... Well, his feelings on the princess were a little more complicated than he cared to admit. Meeting her sounded like nothing but trouble, but the more he thought about it, the more that having the support of Nina, Katt, and the other Ryu might help him in the long run. If nothing else, now there were people here who could relate to him. It was something he wanted for the longest time. It might not have been his friends, his family, or his princess, but they were still the only connection to home he had.

Taking a deep breath, he knocked on the door. "Nina?"

Nina jumped a bit when she heard Ryu's voice. Immediately she went to the door and opened it. She wanted to jump on him again, and hug him. Something inside of her wanted to assure him that he was a nice dragon and not like the monsters they had on this world. Instead she offered a chair.

"I was worried you wouldn't come, you know." Nina smiled. This was like the brother of her friend Ryu. She felt safe with him like she felt with Katt or her Ryu. Nina would have to think of nicknames... or ask Katt to do that, she was good at that.

"It wouldn't be easy for me to hide here, anyway. Besides, I keep the promises I make." He said, entering the classroom and taking a brief moment to look around. "I'm not used to seeing a class so empty." Ryu muttered absentmindedly, taking the seat he was offered. An awkward silence soon filled the room. There was a lot Ryu could go over, but he wasn't sure what to start with.

"So... Where do I begin?"

Nina smiled and perched on her desk. She crossed her ankles and they swung absently from where she sat. "Where would you like to?"

Her eyes were searching him for differences. She wondered if his dragon forms were like the other Ryu's. If they were as pretty. They'd have to be.

"There's so much that happened since my ancestor fought Myria, I'm not sure where to begin, or where St. Eva fits into the whole mess."

The poor boy only shuffled about awkwardly in his chair.

"St. Eva?" Nina frowned. This was going to be difficult. If they went back home, would they damage something? She wanted to know, of course. Nina was insatiably curious. "We may just have to keep going till something perks my brain."

"Or if there's something I want to ask you." He said, contemplating what to ask first.

"Are there other Brood besides your Ryu in your world?"

"Brood?" She frowned at the word. It was unfamiliar. "Are you asking about the Dragon Clan?"
