Office Hours 2: The Officehouring

Summary: Snow doesn't learn from experience is holding office hours again!



In preparation for finals coming up, Snow had once again shoved the WTR classroom into something he could call an office by virtue of some practice mats now being stacked high enough to sit on. Having done so, he settled in to a simple exercise routine. After all, even Instructors have to keep in shape.

Grell looked to Snow, a wicked smile upon his features. The stare he gave was as if he tried to instill just how serious he would be about his next statement.

"It would depend on my teammates. I don't play well with just anyone, even if it meant their LIFE was on the line."

He'd been exposed to that sort of attitude, before. Mainly from go-it-alone Lightning, who was so bent on going she didn't care where she went or who got hurt along the way.

"I hope you learn," he said, calmly and evenly.

There was an amused chuckle at the advice. He's not surprised Snow would say something so heroic.

"I doubt it. It's part of my job, and I've taken a personal liking to it."

"Then keep in mind," Snow said, still quite evenly, "that on a mission as a SeeD, backing up the team is expected. Whether or not you like them, they are your team. If you don't work together, the mission will probably go very badly."

The disguised threat only made Grell's grin grow wider. If only Snow knew the red-head's true nature. No, one day, everyone would know that DEATH resided amongst them all.

"What if I look forward to such an outcome?" Without death, there would be no need for reapers. Instant layoff. Who would pay for all those lovely dresses?
