Location: Headmaster's office
Rating: G
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Oli has an idea to start up a dance troupe; all he needs is the Headmaster's approval.
[Headmaster Cid is in high spirits. It'd be easy to make Headmaster Cid see the light of the Dance Troupe right? Of course it would. 'Discipline, reflexes, fun yadda yadda yadda. Okay. We can do this.' Oli thought to himself, waiting to be let into the headmasters office.

Carefully placing the documents back into their folders, the Headmaster called out, "Please, come in!" as he continued to straighten out his desk to look more presentable for the meeting.

"A traditional greeting from a dance pupil to his instructor." He nods. "One of the few things I could teach a troupe." He added with a smile putting a hand on the chair, but waiting to shake the principals hand before taking a seat.

He folded his hands over the desk once the SeeD was settled down. "Now, how may I help you?"

"I used dance to keep myself focused when I was studying, both here and on my home world." He smiled again with another nod. "Dance is more than just ballroom dancing too, and while the teaching gig is fun and awesome, it'd be nice to show I can teach other types of dancing too!" Oli finished, hoping he hadn't been too forceful in his reasoning.

"I do see the benefits. Sometimes with the purpose of Garden, I worry that the cadets don't have enough opportunities to take advantage of their youth. It's a very serious world out there, even more so when they've graduated and begin to take on missions."
Cid smiled then, sitting up a bit straighter before leaning forward with interest. "What exactly would a dance troupe encompass?"

"We'd meet twice weekly, one mid-week after classes before curfew and Saturday mornings from 11am to 1pm to get a healthy warm up and cool down in. We'd do showcases at no cost or for charity or something. But that's pretty much it!"

"It sounds like a great idea. I'll be glad to allow you to form your Dance Troupe. In fact, if you get some students and feel confident enough, you could even perform at the school carnival next month. It might be a little too short notice, however..."
I have NO IDEA why that happened...
"If not, we'll set up a showcase for some time after. I've got a few ideas. We could also incorporate the music class, give them some practical experience. That's if Instructor Evans and you agree of course." He added, still slightly paranoid that something from the cosmos will make this go bad for him!

"Well. If there's nothing else, I'd better get planning. And Advertising. And Auditioning. Though that's not really the point of the troupe. I'll just get them to show me a little something and then we'll go from there." He said more to himself than the headmaster.
