Summary: Cocona gets a tour, Squall gets a distraction makes a friend!? who knows with this guy...

Squall was waiting in the garage, it'd been easy enough getting a key for one of the cars and explaining he wanted to go into Balamb for something. He... hadn't really gotten a rundown on what had changed in cars in the past twenty years. So here was hoping nothing drastic. ...He'd figure it out.

Standing next to his chosen vehicle waiting for Cocona he wondered how much had changed in Balamb. Well... he'd find out. ...There was no sense in worrying about it.

He looked at the car for a bit. ...He liked cars, though that probably didn't show on his face. More like he was staring into an abyss and not amused or something. The usual expression.

But he pointed at the passenger side door for Cocona to open. "Get in. I'll drive."

Opening the driver's side he slid into the seat and, of course put on his seatbelt, looking to see if Cocona needed help with hers. Conscientious at all the wrong times... that's him yep.

Clearly this will be a fun car ride full of the most intellectual conversations. Opening the passenger side door, Cocona got in the car. As for the seatbelt? ... Give her a second??

"So how far away is Balamb?"

"Not that far. Ten minutes since we're driving."

He starts the car. Seriously hope you put that seatbelt on Cocona... He is not known for driving the speed limit. Just saying.

Wow seriously Squall the first time she gets to ride in a car and he speeds....

Then again Cocona's a tough girl she can handle this. But in any case, Cocona did indeed manage to get the seatbelt on, as Squall started up the car, because really, thirteen is too young of an age to die at, and especially not to something like this.

"That short, huh? I wonder how long it'd take by V-Board..."

"V-Board? Is that what they call T-Boards now?"

...He feels old. Just. Driving out of the garage. This he'll do at a proper speed. Just wait till the hit the open road...

There's that word again... Cocona'd read in the rules that T-Boards were prohibited, and she'd had to explain V-Boarding already to some other people, but seriously, what is this T-Boarding and is it similar to V-Boarding this is something Cocona wants to know.

"V-Boards are something from home; it's a popular sport in Sol Cluster."

And now they were reaching the open road beyond Garden. Speeding up. Yep. Do you see that scenery blurring by Cocona? ...It only takes ten minutes when Squall's driving?

So what if she told Squall about how her previous weapon when she was little was a baton that could be worn as hairclips....
