(no subject)
Character(s): Mitsuru, Katara
Location: Infirmary
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed-ish, mainly for those in the infirmary. Ask if you'd like to join in?
Summary: Mitsuru deals with summon backlash, and Katara helps. Backdated to forever ago.
Mitsuru had managed to stagger most of the way to the infirmary, with a minimum of stumbling, although that fall into the hospital bed hadn't been the most graceful or dignified thing she'd ever done. Once she was laying down, it was a toss up on which was more distracting; watching the ceiling spin around in slow circles, or closing her eyes and feel the room tilt and whirl around her. One thing Mitsuru was certain about, however, was that she was in no hurry to get back up. Her mind was full of a lot of things; dizziness, a slight hint of nausea, and confusion and uncertainty being at the front, along with a large helping of disgracefully disorganized thoughts.
Nearly all of those thoughts were spent wondering what just happened, and why. She could never remember Penthesilea doing anything like that, short of her first summoning…And the Persona offered no answers.
Which left her with breathing deeply, and hoping that would get the room to slow down.

It'd taken some getting use to, but Katara was now fairly comfortable with her role in the infirmary. While it was still just an internship, she found that she really enjoyed the tasks that came with the medical field; of course, it helped that she did have the ability to heal with her waterbending, though she never told anyone when she had to use that certain method for nastier wounds.
Taking a deep breath, Katara knocked on the door before entering, trying to make her smile as friendly as possible as she took in the sight of the patient laying down on the bed.
"Hi! I'm Katara and I'll be helping you out today. What's the reason for your visit?"

"Thank you; I'm certain I'll receive adequate care from you."
And then came the part she really wasn't enjoying; putting what happened into words, and admitting that she actually HAD a mishap.
"It...Appears to be nausea and disorientation, due to an incident while summoning. I'm afraid that I'm having difficulty with...With my own Guardian Force, and have those symptoms as a result."
...No. Not the most pleasant thing to admit, if that pinched expression is anything to go by.

"Ah...Of course." While she couldn't see the note taking, Mitsuru could hear the pen scratching over the paper pad. She decided to focus on that, as the sound was at least familiar, and comfortably methodical.
"Mitsuru Kirijo, emerald sponsor group, student ID number 84285."

"I'm going to place this at the back of your neck. Could you lift your head a bit so I can place it correctly?"

And had to fight from giving a slight sigh of relief. Ice sounded very, VERY welcome just then; just looking at it made her relax a little...And made the room seem a little more stable.
"Certainly." That said, she did try and keep her eyes focused on one part of the room as she eased up. With the ice pack still being in plain sight, she decided to keep her eyes on that.

"Let me know if that's uncomfortable. That should help with the nausea."
The waterbender then pulled up a stool to the bedside, sitting down with her clipboard in hand and looking down at Mitsuru with an expression of both concern and interest.
"Is this the first time this has happened to you?
no subject
"No-"
Not that the same could be applied to her tongue.
"I mean, yes, it's the first time this has happened since coming here. And the first time anything like that has occurred in a great deal of time." There was a moment of frowning, before she continued. "Even then, the behavior was unexpected, and still different from what had happened before."
no subject
"How is it different from what happened before?"
