New roomies

Summary: Waffles for dinner!

[Cissnei, after being at the library for the better part of the day trying to understand Old Dollet, goes back to her room. She knows she has a roommate and they've spoken a few times, but she's kept to herself for the most part.

But there's an enticing smell coming from the kitchen...]

[Steph had just managed to get all of her stuff organized. She was a bit late seeing as she'd been here for maybe almost a month...maybe. Either way, she was hungry and it was time to put some food in her stomach.

So of course she decided to make waffles for dinner! It's not just a breakfast food. It's an all-the-time food. She made enough for her and her roommate if she was hungry. And speaking of her roommate--]

Hey! I hope you don't mind waffles. [Grins.]

[Cissnei peers over, setting her books down on the table. She eyes the mix curiously and the waffles being baked too.]

No, I don't mind at all. You know how to cook?

A little bit. Waffles are my specialty. [She hopes Cissnei likes waffles cause there will be alot of them in this dorm.]

A little bit. I'm used to eating on the run. I never gave myself the time to really learn.

Kinda the same way...although Mom always made sure she'd make waffles in the morning when she was home. [She had a small, nostalgic smile as she thought about her Mom.]

Well, these are about done. [Steph gets some plates and forks so she can serve waffles.] How many do you want?

[Well... she hadn't eaten all day since breakfast thanks to class and getting caught up in her language homework during lunch... but she doesn't want to seem too hungry right now.] Just the one for now.

No, not usually. Sometimes as a team we'd eat together, but it was rare. To each their own or so they say.

[She slides the plate closer to herself until she realizes...]

Oh, do you want anything to drink? I think there's juice and I know I bought coffee and milk.
