Summary: Rise (accidentally!) ruined her uniform and now she's showing it off.

It hadn't taken Rise long to shimmy into Terra's spare uniform, so after writing a quick note of thanks to her roommate she was out the door and on her way to B107, mysterious lump of cotton in tow.

She found the room with relative ease, and knocked at the door.

"It's me! Open up in there!"

Noel's face had nearly gone deadpan. The question alone started to give her bad vibes. "N-No..." she answered hesitantly, "why do you ask...?" But then again ... innocent smile ... general friendliness ... maybe she was just about to offer some harmless cosmetic advice?

"Well..." Rise gently tipped Noel's chin up with one hand, studying the girl's features in the unflattering halogen light. Sweet features, yes, but so neglected. Ideas were brewing. She'd have to start with some baby steps-- too much at once might scare the poor thing off halfway through. "I was just thinking about what we could do to make your eyes stand out a little more."

Noel retracted her face an inch at the initial touch - but, out of courtesy, refrained from nudging away further. She allowed Rise to study her, though it was obviously uncomfortable for her. "Stand out...? Why...?"

Now things were starting to get a bit more suspicious, but Rise's baby steps plan might have some merit to it. She shifted her eyes awkwardly. "Um... weren't you going to show me something?"

That's right. She'd come all this way to show off the dismal state of what had once been her cadet uniform, hadn't she? With a sigh, Rise stepped out of Noel's personal bubble and laid the ruined clothes out on the table.

"What do you think?" she asked, somewhat proud of the mess.

Noel expelled an unseen sigh of relief as Rise set out her uniform, turning afterwards to lower her eyes on it in observation. She stifled a laugh with her fist, hoping not to offed Rise. "Oh... w-wow... that's pretty bad..."

"Isn't it, though?" Rise really shouldn't be proud of this monstrosity, but she can't help herself. It's a testament to... something, even if she isn't entirely sure what that testament is. "Maybe I could sell it as modern art."

Noel mentally dwelled on similar thoughts, though she was moreso glad to have diverted attention off herself for the time being. She chuckled at Rise's proposal, staring down on the uniform. "I'm sure there's someone out there who would pay to take it off your hands..." she joked back, refocusing her attention on her fellow Sapphire. "You got a replacement?"
