SeeD Mission 3: GET THAT BUSINESS DEAL
Character(s): Mission SeeD Party (Grell & Champloo), representatives from Edwards Tech, Dollet citizens
Location: Dollet
Rating: PG
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: The Dollet Mission Team is sent out to negotiate a business deal with Edwards Technology (as well as to interrogate them for further details regarding the computer viruses).
As Garden was currently stationed in Dollet over the break, Grell and Champloo had a much easier time of traveling to their destination than any other party. Representatives from Edwards Tech were meeting them at one of Dollet's finest downtown restaurants at approximately 1200 hours for a business lunch. A cab would be waiting for them the minute they left campus; all they had to do was take it and meet the representatives for a (hopefully leisurely) lunch.
The table the two representatives had staked out was a nice, round table secluded from the hubbub and bustle of the normal business lunch hour. Once Grell and Champoo reached the restaurant, the table was easy to spot; it was also the one next to gorgeous potted plants. Indeed, the only instructions the Mission Party received was a nice PM in their inbox from Headmaster Cid.
"Good luck on your business deal! :)
- Headmaster Cid
PS: I highly recommend the cabbage coleslaw. It's one of the best items on their menu."
With that PM, the mission had begun. Good luck, SeeD!

"What is with this cabbage theme..."
Green eyes scan around for the representatives, spotting them instantly. She then turned her attention to the other. "Ready?"

Grell loosened her shoulders by giving them a few rolls before walking over to the table with an air of confidence. She stops once she believes to be within earshot of them.]
I do believe you're expecting us?
no subject
"That we are. Good to see that Garden still believes in punctuality."
Her partner, a shorter (and slightly curvier) black-haired lady straight from University also held out her hand and smiled at them warmly, "It's good to meet you both."

Grell shook their hands with an easy smile. Hope they don't mind her sharp teeth. "Punctuality was pertinent in my last position, I assure you. I'm Grell Sutcliff, and this is Champloo."
Did he even have a first name?
"Shall we get started?"
no subject
Lily looked somewhat apologetic as she took her seat. "No time like the present to get started, right?"

"The Headmaster seems quite interested in the technology of your company. It would surely be beneficial for those stationed at Balamb Garden."
/we apologize for our huge delay!!

"Yes, my associate is correct. At Garden, we like to keep an open mind, lest we find ourselves short-handed when it comes to options. Of course, we must be...wary of what is offered to us." They really didn't need another bugging incident.

The minute the waiter left, Lily piped up cheerfully, "An open mind's a good thing!" If she knew anything about the bugging incident, she definitely didn't show it. "So what about our tech services do you want to know in particular? I know you've been interested in our computers, but maybe you'll look into our phones too?"
no subject
"Balamb Garden's interest is first in making sure that its students can learn! For that reason, maintaining and improving the computers that allow students to access course materials is the most important thing."
no subject
"I'm not exactly sure how phones would improve the lives of cadets. They would prove quite the distraction, would they not?" Grell was quite old fashioned. Even the advanced computer system was too much for her, despite her specialization.
