Mischief Managed #01
Character(s): Sigyn & you!
Location: Garden's Library
Rating: PG
Open/Closed/Finished: Open
Summary: It's time to do some reading!
The library is by far Sigyn's most favorite place in Garden. The incredibly tall shelves. The assortment of literature and the freedom to pluck a book from a shelf and peruse the pages without fear of someone punishing her for touching warded knowledge. With greed for tomes and written word, Sigyn surrounds herself with piles of books that look both interesting and foreboding. Away from the direct line of sight of the librarian, she begins her research.
It starts with a thick tome based on a young prince who spends his life wooing many women and shaming his ancestry. Sigyn grows bored of the book half-way through chapter five and sets it aside. Soon another book joins the pile, and then another. It seems that just as there are many intriguing looking books, that there are also many dull books. Revolving around a basic topic and dressed up in flowery prose. Shakespeare is brilliant, but obviously biased. Petrarch makes her half retch and half coo. Mark Twain amuses the knowledge of hypocrisy that Sigyn knows so well. Jane Austen causes Sigyn to question whether her mother has been correct in her retellings of romances happened years past.
All together, no matter dull or bright, new knowledge excites Sigyn and she continues her research.
She's standing on a stool up near the highest shelves, reaching for a book. She pokes and pries at the bindings, hoping to wiggle the tome from its confines, but only manages to wiggle all the books. And cause the entire shelf level of books to fall to the floor.
"...I hope no one heard that."

Gothel leans back against one of the tables, arching an eyebrow. "That said, I do hope you intend on picking those up. I can only imagine the state this would put the librarian in~."

"What a terrible thing to say."
She hops down from the stool, skirts swishing. She smoothes out her sleeves, saying, "And do not worry. I shall indeed clean this mess myself."

She examines her long red nails casually. "Good~. So often the clumsy leave their messes for others to discover."

She pulls out a few papers and a pen, and makes some cryptic notes. "Do please continue, dullard~."

"Euqilbo."
I'm sorry I lost track of time u_u"
She begins rolling up and putting away the papers--except one.
"By the way, darling, are you aware of the nature of a 'Punishment Tour'~?"
it's chill!
"I believe that is a trail through Asgardia."
