Idle Thoughts are as dangerous as any weapon in the right hands. [Open]
Characters: Ahri + any poor soul that encounters her
Location: Near her 'Den' (Room), all over the Garden and the surrounding forests and villages while she hunts
Rating: PG 13+? Could go higher when it comes to Ahri
Open/Closed/Finished: Open!
Summary: Ahri struggles with the lack of things to keep her thoughts at bay. Is a bit unstable at the moment.
The Garden's outdoor areas had slowly begun to become obscured as time went by. Soon enough, flickering lights began peppering the once dark areas with faint, ghostly lights, making the shadows scatter this way and that way. From afar, it almost seemed as if a small summertime breeze had picked up fallen leaves and strewn them about in an ominous petal dance.
And yet there was no colorful display, no comforting feeling, no notion of the parting winter and the prospect of the wonders of a passing spring, the coming of the maple, reds, yellows and warm colors of the coming fall...
There was no skulk to play into, there was no sound of any kits enjoying their first glance at the sunbeams that danced through the verdant canopy once more...
And yet, these memories seemed even more distant than before, a life past, almost surreal... What had happened? Her kin... no, not anymore. But was she a human? No, or ever would be... She was a creature of magic, a creature of legend... A creature enveloped in secrecy and mysticism. The more time she spent learning and being more human-like, the more she yearned for an answer.
What was she? Not one nor the other, and yet uniqueness was its own solitary cell. The confined reaches of the mind pressing into every doubt that surfaced at any moment the mind was left to wander.
It was due to this lack of entertainment that the vixen made to leave her 'den', silently and effortlessly stalking the shadows. The beating of her heart slowed, her breathing slowed to a trickle, her predatory instincts taking precedence in this moment of despair. Golden eyes shifted this way and that, like small suns seeking a life to burn in it's ever-enveloping warmth.
For a few moments it felt as if time stood still and any presence that came to notice of the huntress would soon feel a pleasant itch as the vixen drained their very essence. Was she still in her right mind enough to not drain them completely? Yes. The victims would only feel the thrill of being wanted, almost in ecstasy even as the predator made her way out of the shadows with a cunning smile.
Do you run? Or do you stay in the warm embrace of those honey laden eyes that pierce your very soul?

The most she could do was try to restrain the unnatural emotion and stand her ground.

Stepping out of the shadows, the vixen's eyes focused on the other as she smiled, tails dancing behind her playfully. "My my, don't you know it's not safe to wander about in the dark?"
no subject
A knife which was now lodged in her spirit. It was only pain.
Her thoughts were on the tip of her tongue, begging to be released, but she would not.

Almost on impulse, she wanted to heal herself, but it still felt like something wasn't right.

"I mean you now harm, after all, I'm just another simple cadet. What harm could such a trivial person bestow upon someone as fierce as you hm? Or maybe you're just puffing your chest to turn away predators?"

"Surely you haven't seen me make a dash for you, let alone assault you to deal any physical harm have you? I'm just a prowler of the shadows, a stalker of the dark and a connoisseur of delectable personas~"

Ahri paused and looked at her curiously. "I suppose there's no point in hiding it, but I did say I was hunting." She strode idly around the girl, her tails swaying this way and that. "I'm not draining you entirely, no. Just enough to sustain myself, you see I've been rather hungry as of late and normal food can only do so much for me."

Ahri moved away with a mischievous smile but stopped just so she could sit on her tails and begin brushing her hair.
"I'd appreciate it if you didn't disclose my little secret. I would rather remain on grounds if at all possible, but I suppose if it can't be helped that's fine as well. I'm sure there's plenty of forests I could live in~"
no subject
"...Of course. I would think none would be too pleased about that."
She would never speak of this again.
no subject
"Mayhaps our next meeting will be... more pleasant."

His eyes darted this way and that as his pace slowed and he rubbed his chest with a hand when a strange feeling washed over him.
"H..hello?" he called out to no one in particular. Ginji wasn't sure, but the back of his head sure burned with the feeling of being watched.

Regardless, after a bit of stalking, she moved from the shadows and into view. At first, only her honey golden eyes came into view, as fierce as any predators' and yet incredibly inviting.
"Out for a nightly stroll hm~?"
no subject
"Ah," he breathed, placing a hand against his chest. Oh, it was just Ahri. "Fox-chan, you scared me! It's really creepy outside right now so I thought you may have been a ghost," he admitted with a bashful laugh.
no subject
Ahri moved closer, closing the gap between her and him as a predator would as the approached their prey. "So tell me, Ginji, shouldn't you be resting right about now? Or did you decide the night was pleasant enough for a stroll? Don't you know that the shadows are dangerous the closer it gets to night time? Or so they say anyways~" she mused once she was right besides him, tails playfully caressing him here and there.

"Um...well you see, tonight looked like a good night for a walk! I mean, the moon is all bright and," he turned as he spoke and pointed up to the sky. The air was still thick with mist though, so he slowly lowered his hand. "Oh...well not right now but it was!"
"Besides that, unless there's something lurking in the shadows, then there's nothing to worry about!"
no subject
She ran down a slender finger down his face and smiled. "So maybe you should be more careful next time you go out hm?"
no subject
Ginji's eyes shifted from one side to another as she pressed herself against him.
"Um...well I don't, really. I mean, there could be all sorts of creepy-crawlies lurking in the shadows that are ready to pounce at any time!" His head lolled to one side along with his eyes. "On the other hand, it could just be shadows. And...even if there are things waiting in there for me..."
A bright smile sprung up on the teens face and he laughed. "I've got things to light up the darkness!"
no subject
She smiled and raised a curious brow at his words, "Oh? And what would that be?" she mused with a light flick of his ear.
no subject
"Um...I could show you if you...just..moved back a little. Off me, Ahri."

"Well then, lead the way Ginji~"
no subject
Ginji began walking alright, though it was choppy, robotic movements with his arms and legs straight out. He was still a bit put-off by her attitude.
"Um...we just...need to find a street lamp is all, ha..ha..ha."
no subject
All in all, it wasn't too bad of an evening and Ginji seemed to have essence to spare even at the minor rate she was draining.
