Oh love, I think I'm ready
Characters: Cissie King-Jones and Ardos
Location: Balamb Town
Rating: PG
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Backdated to sometime last week! Cissie bet on Ardos at the date auction and won! So of course, a (hilarious) date ensues.
Cissie hadn't expected to actually win a date with Instructor Ardos - was she still supposed to call him Instructor tonight? - but the GFC had confirmed her winnings after the auction had ended. Touma's bid was hilarious, and she'd fully anticipated on winning him, but Ardos was a stranger to her. It might as well have been a blind date.
God, how long had it been since she'd been on a proper date anyways? The last time was... was with Bart. Ardos wasn't much like Bart (which was a blessing in disguise), so maybe the evening wouldn't be a total bust. She'd arranged most of the details beforehand: they were heading to the beach for a long walk, some crab fishing, and maybe some sandcastle building! Since Ardos couldn't eat, it'd be pointless to buy him a meal.
She'd eaten beforehand, and thus knocked on his door promptly at 1 PM. She straightened her white polka-dotted blouse, staring down at its loose fabric (and the black pleated skirt she'd worn along with it) before she willed herself to look again at the door. It was going to be a good date! She was sure of it! No matter how many times she told herself, though, it still felt incredibly awkward.

no worries ♥ things happen
Clothes aside, at least he seems cheerful about this. smiles back before gesturing towards the hallway. "You ready to go?" As curious as she is about his apartment, she doesn't exactly feel comfortable waltzing in there either.

But before they go, he offers a hand to shake.
"I'm Ardos, the instructor of advanced programming. I'm pleased to meet you."
His apartment doesn't have much. He doesn't live like a human, so it's almost like when he first got to it. Nothing interesting!
