Characters: Terezi Pyrope and Nepeta Leijon
Location: Vriska and Nepeta's room
Rating: PG
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Terezi thought about some things during the dance, and decided to take matters into her own hands. Although, she's not prepared for what she may not find.
It's been just a month now, but Terezi knew this sort of thing wouldn't be going away anytime soon. It didn't seem to her that Vriska was either, which happened to be something she was grateful for. Some say it would be a curse for the person you killed to be living in the same area you were, but she would say it would be that and a blessing. It gave her a chance to be able to face the person she's done these things to, although probably not in the full sense, given that Vriska seemed to have no memories of Terezi doing the deed. This is why it felt like it wasn't right, and the flowers clutched tightly in her fingers were this time not hurriedly picked out. She wondered what kind of person would still...er have feelings for someone they killed, and the thought easily followed her.
Terezi's hands were a bit sweaty now, especially the ones holding the flowers. Anemones. They were blue and well...blue, not to mention smelled really nice. With that in mind, she knocked on the door, and asked, ignoring how nervous she sounded, "Vriska? Are you there? I wanted to talk to you about something..."

Vriska who had been here for nearly two sweeps, who seemed to her like the only permanent thing about this place. Her moirail--where she had always expected that others would come and go some foolish part of her hadn't even thought that Vriska was just at risk as well.
Pretty stupid. Pretty damn stupid.
She closed her eyes and exhaled, before pushing herself up. Keeping Terezi waiting wouldn't be very polite, and she must have come here for a reason.
"I'm coming!" The small girl extracted herself from the mess of cats she had been curled up with and made her way over to the door, pushing some hair out of her eyes. She opened the door and was surprised when she saw a bouquet of flowers in her hand. Was that suppose to be for Vriska? Nepeta felt her stomach twist in pain...she wasn't really sure what had been going on between the two but she knew that Terezi was likely to take the news hard as well.
"Hey Terezi."

Terezi said with that smile which turned into a grin, "Hi Nepeta! Vriska doesn't seem to be here, huh? Do you think I should have left a note or something on these? It's a little bit embarrassing, but it's probably obvious when I say these are supposed to be for her. It seems like she'll need them now that she seems to be so busy..."

Seemed like it had be been for naught but now seeing the kindness that Terezi was extending Vriska made her a little sad.
The small troll looked down, shuffling her feet and gave a small shake of her head.
"Vriska...I don't think that'd help. She's not around anymore."

It always seemed to be too late, on either party's end, and at that she supposed she shouldn't be surprised. None at all, but she doesn't move a muscle, even after the few moments the news revelation has been given and has hit her. In her hands, the flowers droop over as her grip loosened slightly. She wanted to say something, but there's more than disappointment that's gripped her now.
Slowly, Terezi looked down, and wondered why it was she felt so foolish. Maybe it was because she thought she should have come sooner, but then again it wouldn't have prevented Vriska's disappearance. One of which Nepeta has known that it's been so for at least more than a while now. At least that's what she's guessed.
Terezi didn't feel all that good, as she knew that Vriska had returned. Either to her death, or to die, and she was the reason for her death. No matter why it had to happen.
Finally, the teal-blooded troll starts, "Well..."
Nothing much more came from her in terms of more words, because in reality she doesn't know what to say. She merely repeats the word, and for the second time in front of anyone, it wavers. She tries again. "I h-hope she enjoyed her stay."
From her eyes drip some tears, and she tried to reason it's stupid for her to be so upset. That she may be back. But when that obviously failed, a thought about what about someone seeing her like this? She believed it didn't matter, if it was Nepeta.

"Maybe she'll be back some day." The words were just as much a reassurance for her as they were for Terezi. Her knuckles lightly massage Terezi's back in what she hopes is a soothing manner.
"I know she was really glad to have been able to see you again." Even if she wouldn't really fully express it. That was just Vriska's way, and might possibly always be. "For now the best we can do for her is try to continue and do out best to end this dumb war, so we can bring everyone here where it's safe."
