Valentine's Morning

Summary: What the title says!

Not having spent this holiday with anyone in a while, and especially not with anyone he cared this much about, Gakupo wanted to make this morning start off on a happy note. So he managed to sneak off and prepare a warm and healthy breakfast for them both. Toast, eggs, sausages (lean sausages!), freshly squeezed juice and fruit were all on a platter. There was also a single pink rose in the middle of the platter in a vase. Gakupo set the platter onto the desk before going to wake up Sigyn, attempting to rouse her with light shake to her shoulder.

"Hey, sleepyhead."

Wow, that was...scary. When he ate, it was pretty much the opposite in terms of voracity. Cutting his food with a knife, taking his time with chewing and swallowing. It was surprising how different they could be in that sense.

"I wasn't sure of your plans for the rest of the day, since it's a school day, but there are surprises coming your way today."

Sigyn has a little more decorum than most Norse folks of her home. For instance, she doesn't guzzle mead and then belch in appreciation. No, she finds the noxious gas of the belching and as well the banging of mugs to be irritating (and as such, tables are just not made of hardier materials anymore) and she refrains. But true, her eating habit could use some improvement, especially in the manners department.

She sets aside her fork once she's scarfed down her last bit of eggs and toast, reaching for her glass of juice. "I was thinking about being naughty for once with my academics and perhaps "ditching" classes today." She drinks half her glass of juice. It's cool and refreshing and sweetly flavored. "What say you?"

If she did all that, he would be very surprised and just second guess everything in his life. At the mention of her skipping classes, Gakupo gave a disapproving shake of his head. "It's quite important that you not miss classes just for..." He paused, scratching his head. "For what reason?"

Sigyn makes a vulpine smile, starting to get up, but reaching across the table to take Gakupo's face into her hands, draw him in, and then proceed to hungrily, slowly, kiss him.

Gakupo hummed into the kiss, drawing her closer by gently pulling on her arms. She was way too far away for such a moment.
