Backdated to the weekend Beach Party and Birthday Log! \o/

[Marco runs around setting everything up. There's platters of food laid out -- more than enough and some extra as a habit from dealing with Ace and 1600 pirates, a boombox with tons of music, beach volleyball set up, a campfire, and according to Selphie and Marco, fireworks for later. GO NUTS. There will be some threads set up, but you can make your own or do anything! Just remember if the thread gets wild, mark it as NSFW.]

[She points to herself. SHE'S a Pikachu. Duh!]

No, no, no! I get THAT! I mean...what species! Like...a cat? Dog?

[Holding this conversation with Pikachu should really make Pinkie realize that...perhaps there isn't an explanation. Or something.]

[Pikachu tilts her head, ears twitching a little. She's a mouse! Can't you tell?]

[...and DEFEATED!! Pinke slumps over with a sigh.]

Twilight is better at mysteries and I am. [She sits up properly and grabs some popcorn to munch on.] Well, I guess all that matters is that you like the popcorn!

[He's picking her up now, and she's happily cuddling into his arms.]

That's really cute! It's good to have best friends! Especially when they're not human, because that just means you're able to make friends with just about anyone or anypony or anypickachu!

[That's... some weird words, and Tobias looks a little confused about what they mean.]

Yeah! I made friends with a lot of Pokemon before I came here, too.

Ah...Pokemon? What's that?

They're animals where I'm from. Like Pikachu.

Um... well, they are animals. Just from my world.

[She's not getting it, and it's evident on her face.]

[And Tobias really isn't sure how to make it more clear. They're his world's animals, is... is that so hard?]

There is an awkward silence before she just offers her bowl of popcorn to him!]

Tobias sits down, taking a bit of popcorn with a smile.]

[He's eating a bit less and slower, for understandable reasons. Pikachu just drops next to him to snag a bit of popcorn again.]

These are really pretty, huh?

Yeah, they are! Selphie did a really good job with picking them out! [Pops a few pieces of popcorn into her mouth.]

Selphie? [He doesn't recognize the name.]

Yeah! She organized all of this! She's really nice!

Wow! She's really patient, too! This is a lot of fun!

[He likes the sound of her already.]
