There's platters of food laid out -- more than enough and some extra as a habit from dealing with Ace and 1600 pirates, a boombox with tons of music, beach volleyball set up, a campfire, and according to Selphie and Marco, fireworks for later. [What a weird-coloured rat... Yosuke is distracted enough wondering what exactly it reminds him of that he fails to notice the escaping breadstick until it's comfortably out of reach.]

Hey! [He makes a wild grab for it anyway. It doesn't accomplish much, but he does narrowly avoid losing his balance or any more of his food.] Get your own!

[Pikachu easily drops out of the grab, glaring at him with sparks dancing across her cheeks.]

[He does his best to glare back at it.] Pipika yourself! Don't you think that's way more than enough food for you?

[But it's difficult to keep up the stern act with the rat, well, crackling at him like that. Maybe it's some kind of robot. ...Maybe it's about to blow up. That would fall in line with the luck he seems to be having today.

He hangs his head.] Urgh, what am I even saying...?

[She lets the electricity drop, chewing on the breadstick and giving him a look equal to "You're a moron."]

[And there's a pair of hands picking up the little yellow mouse, apparently oblivious to the previous argument between her and Yosuke.]

[He heaves a defeated sigh and is about to pick up another breadstick, but the sound of a newcomer's footsteps surprises him, and he looks up.]

Oh, hey! Is that thing yours?

[Tobias blinks a little at Yosuke, then nods.]

Yeah. She's my friend.

[Yosuke rubs at his forehead with one hand. He supposes there's nothing stopping people bringing their pets to a beach party...]

You couldn't try to keep it a little more under control, could ya? I mean... [He gestures towards the bread Pikachu is gnawing on.]

[Tobias clearly doesn't understand, looking at the breadstick, then back to Yosuke.]

...What's wrong? The food's for everyone, isn't it?
