SADIE PANG!! [Super Backdated & Closed]

Summary: Right after the Beach Bash, they go to a concert, since they bought tickets like a month ago. THEY ARE GOING!

With the Time Lord Mage battle over and done with, the trio were able to actually get to that concert advertised a long time ago! Gakupo, dressed in his usual attire, was carrying a tray full of drinks and snacks for the concert. Most of it was for Sigyn...hot dogs, nachos with cheese, a small bag of chocolate covered pretzels, a few soft drinks and popcorn. The popcorn was his, though he was willing to share!

The doors opened an hour before, and they had arrived just a half hour before it was to begin, so it was plenty of time to eat before the show started. He was returning to the girls as he volunteered to get them refreshments.

Sigyn lets out a little squeak of joy at the sight of Gakupo approaching, arms laden with goodies. Her ponytail bounces as she hops up from her seat next to Selphie and helps her boyfriend unload the food and drinks, passing what looked good over to Selphie so that she didn't feel like a plump solstice pig with all the food in her arms.

She bends and kisses Gakupo's lips softly, thanking him.

"You are so kind, My Love."

She's wearing the famous yellow dress that is so fond to both Sigyn's and Gakupo's memories.

Selphie accepts the drink and offered popcorn and bag of cherry blasters as she flashes an excited grin at Gakupo for hauling all of that food back by himself. She looks at him with a guilty look before frowning at him. She'd never really listened to much music before looking for some of Sadie Pang's music and finding herself enjoying it.

Those thoughts sailed right out of her mind before she's sticking her tongue out at the couple.

"Get a room," she says playfully because she really doesn't mind the kissing. "Also, you should've said something. I could've come with you and helped carry all of that."

It wasn't his fault Sigyn was so...endearing! Gakupo hued a bit before laughing lightly. "Sorry, sorry! We'll try to behave!" He took his own treats of simple chocolate covered raisins, conveniently hidden at the bottom of the bunch. "It's quite alright! It wasn't that difficult to carry! Besides, I thought you two could get to talk while I was away."

Sigyn smiles like the cat who caught the canary. "We could...but where would we put you for the time?" She giggles at Gakupo's cheeks coloring. "My Heart is so stubborn, Lady Selphie. He likes to be the hero for us damsels." And if it were anyone but Gakupo, Sigyn would swiftly knock the wind from them and sink their pride, but as it is her beloved, she lets him play the knight in shining armor.

"We are grateful for your kind gesture, My Samurai." She gives Gakupo one more kiss before settling back into her seat.

Selphie comes to the conclusion that Gakupo and Sigyn are the cutest couple she has ever come across. Their love is sweet, innocent and the kind of romance that Selphie has only read about in her childhood storybooks. She finds herself hoping that she can find a love like theirs for her own one day but for now, she smiles sweetly at the two lovebirds before she looks toward the stage with excitement.

"This is the first time I've ever been to a concert before. What's it gonna be like?"

The energy in the room is full of excitement and the perky brunette who agreed to come with them to the concert is feeding off it in grand form. She's like a kid in a candy store for the first time with so much to experience. She can't wait for the concert to begin.

If either of them heard that, Gakupo would melt from sheer embarrassment. However since that is not the case, he will remain intact.

"Every concert I've been to has been different. I think a common factor is they have an opening song or act to warm things up."

At that moment, the lights dimmed down and the roar of the crowd grew in excitement. The stage lit up with red lights, and they could see was quite the mashup of different things. Some dancers in red bodysuits with flags, a few violinists with glittering bows and instruments, and the main attraction, Sadie Pang at center stage with her red guitar, white dress, and red pumps. The first few chords played, hushing the crowd to a level where the music could be heard.

Gakupo looked on in interest, holding onto his snacks and seemingly almost forgetting about them.

When the lights dim, Sigyn's elbow twitches, as she has instinctive reaction, but with no danger present, she ignores the twitch and reclines in her seat, settling on starting to eat her hot dog. It's pretty good compared the what they serve in Garden's cafeteria. Maybe it has something to do with cooking methods?

Sadie Pang is a big red and white blur to Sigyn once the lights flash, and it only takes a moment for Sigyn's vision to clear so she now is looking at the one and only Sadie Pang. Her eyebrows rise as she takes in Sadie's outfit -- interesting color choices, she must commend -- and her fellow dancers. It's quite the show.

She is about to turn her head to Gakupo and ask about the strange formation the people on stage are doing, but she sees that faraway look in his eyes and settles herself, deciding to wait and see if the show itself will explain its reason to her.

This is just as new to Selphie as it is to Sigyn but after Selphie blinks the spots from her eyes, the perky brunette's attention is set wholly upon Sadie. The music was nothing she'd ever heard before and the dancing was interesting to her. The songs were of broken hearts and breaking up with boyfriends but there were also tunes about true love and just having a good time. She finds herself bopping away to the rhythm of the songs and getting caught up in the atmosphere of the concert.

Selphie sneaks a glance over at the seemingly catatonic Gakupo before she offers some of her candy to Sigyn. "Looks like it's just the two of us for a bit. Have you ever been to a concert like this before?"

A sudden bang of fireworks inside the hall startles Selphie and has her scanning the area looking for the enemy. When she only hears the crowd cheering at the spectacle on stage, she sits back down in her chair and sighs. Old habits were hard to kill in the SeeD as she was still far too used to her life being in mortal peril at every step. She collects herself into a state of calm, she focuses entirely on the show once again.

Yes, Gakupo was very much caught up in the music, moving to the beat like most of the other fans. He could have easily blended in if it weren't for his purple hair. The songs were really meant for teens, as they often went through the teenage motions of breakups and living while they're young. Ah, remembered those times.

He looked over to his company, seeing that they were at least getting along--hey wait, he was there too! But...he was really into the concert and didn't hear a question?

"Did...I miss something?"

Sigyn turns to Selphie, confused. "But My Heart is right here," and she points to Gakupo. "I do not understand." But then, she didn't even understand when Ed told her to "get out of his hair", and she'd assumed he was slowly losing his sanity. Sigyn catches herself a minute later, recognizing the familiarity of the language. "Is this a Midgardian syntax?"

She giggles when Gakupo looks over, looking lost. She covers her mouth daintily with her hand and smiles sweetly.

"Nej, My Heart." She says reassuringly, and turns back to Selphie.

Selphie casts a sideways glance at Gakupo before patting his shoulder. The anticipation of an attack leaves for the time being as she beams at everything and nothing in particular. She can't help herself for feeling the need to tease Gakupo for being a total space case.

"While you were off in Lala Land, we were engaging in girl talk."

"...girl talk..."

He can only vaguely imagine what that might entail, and it made him uncomfortable. "Ah, you're free to engage in...that...I promise to continue not listening!"

Sigyn giggles again. "I must admit, Lady Sadie dresses so brightly." She's talking to Selphie again, head turned her way. "There are stars in her dress! Look!" She points emphatically to the stage where Sadie Pang is performing. True, that the singer's dress does contain an abnormal amount of glitter, something of which is new to Sigyn.

"How do you suppose she captured those stars?"

Stars? Selphie leans in for a closer look at Sadie's dress and recognizes the sequins from a mile away. She smiles knowingly even as she shakes her head to correct Sigyn. "Those're sequins actually. They're made and painted a certain way to reflect light. They're like a bunch of tiny little prisms."

Selphie claps enthusiastically at the end of the song. She's glad that she came to the concert because this is something that they didn't have the liberty of back in her time. The radios were used primarily for politics and international news and knowing that they were now used to express people's thoughts through song is amazing to her.
