Train Train, Take Them Away

Characters: Greed and Selphie
Location: Various; they're out for the weekend
Rating: PG?
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Selphie wanted to talk with him. Greed pointed out that nowhere in Garden was safe with Ms. Tattler around. Solution: Get out of town.

Down at Balamb Station, Greed waited, a duffel bag casually slung over his shoulder. He had a feeling he was going to like this -- scoring the SeeD car on the train sounded like a nice luxury, and one he planned to take advantage of. Sure, he hadn't managed to get his hands on the ultimate power of Time Compression... but that was no reason to get all moody, was it?

Selphie will never let Greed get his hands on Time Compression and she'd sooner die to stop him. She arrives at the station with a decent sized backpack and sits next to the Homunculus on a bench. She had checked the train schedule and their train would be departing in about half an hour. Her stomach is full of butterflies and she doesn't quite know what she was thinking when she agreed to go away for a weekend with Greed.

She doesn't look at him when she says, "the train leaves in about half an hour. We'd better go get in line."

She's trying to keep her expression as neutral as possible even as she feels her nerves starting to get the better of her. She feels like she doesn't know him at all and took a good beating trying to stop him from doing something crazy. It left her wondering just why in the world is she doing this?

"Yep. SeeD's don't get special treatment just because we have our own car on the train," she said simply before standing up without his offered hand.

She was thinking about the battle at Tear's Point and how she'd had to stop him. She hadn't wanted to do it but with the way he'd been acting about it, Selphie didn't have much of a choice. She can't look at him either way even though this doesn't seem to be much of a big deal to Greed but it's a big one for her.
