(no subject)
Character(s): Quistis Trepe, Celty Sturluson
Location: Outside the library, Balamb Garden
Rating: PG
Open/Closed/Finished: Closed
Summary: Celty is looking for a SeeD supervisor for the Cooking Club, and luckily stumbles upon Quistis outside the library.
Quistis had been relatively surprised by the number of responses she had received on her latest post to the BBS in regard to tutoring sessions-- she hadn't been too sure that anyone would be interested when she considered the idea, but had gone ahead and offered her aid anyways. Now with a rather solid number of students who she had scheduled appointments to meet with, Quistis felt it was necessary for her to brush up on a couple of the subjects the cadets had requested help in. While she was mostly confident in her knowledge of the subjects provided by the academy, she didn't see any harm in reviewing her facts-- twenty years have passed, after all, and there might have been advancements she has yet to learn of.
She had spent most of the afternoon pouring over books in the library, and now that evening was approaching, Quistis felt it was time to head back to her room to freshen up a bit before making her way to dinner. With a stack of books tucked neatly beneath an arm, the SeeD made her way out of the library and towards the elevator which would lead her back to her dorm.

"Well, it looks like you're starting off in the right direction. I'm sure Headmaster Cid will be keen on the idea of the club; even though we're an academy that trains mercenaries, the majority of the students are still teenagers. A club like this will surely garner some attention and provide an environment where cadets and SeeDs can escape their work and duties to simply have fun and gain a hobby. It will also help remind us that we're still young."

"I have a meeting with him soon, and if I may, I will use those same words to persuade him."
Youth. That did indeed seem important to the people of this world too. She wondered for a second what kind of deeds the mercenaries were really going to do later on... What dark fates awaited them all? Regardless, she was going to do what was necessary to stay with him. Even if it meant learning how to kill and bake at the same time.
"Thank you so much for your time. You saved me."
She bowed, then corrected herself and saluted.

She couldn't help the slightly amused smile that lifted her lips at Celty's bowing and correction-- it was refreshing to deal with such respectful cadets, and the sudden wave that the Time Compression brought provided plenty of them. They majority of the newcomers had been rather pleasant to interact with, and Celty was no exception.
In response, Quistis lifted her free hand to return the salute. "It's not a problem, Cadet Sturluson. When you do figure out the details of the club, please let me know." She pulled out a pen from her pocket and scribbled something down on the back of the flier which Celty had given to her earlier. "This is my dorm room number; I'm usually in there. If you knock and don't receive a response, feel free to leave a note under the door."
