Goodbye Dollet and Thanks for All the Fish! (backdated to Sept 28)
Characters: EVERYONE!!! And any "local" NPCs you want to make up
Location: A warehouse down by the wharf
Rating: G+? idk people will do as they will do
Open/Closed/Finished: Open
Summary: It's an excuse to pump dance music really really loudly, tbh.
The party was put together ridiculously fast, but everyone who decided to help went all out, and the place is pretty damn awesome. There are refreshments, strobe lights, a loudass music setup, and lots of space to dance. Come on in and have a blast! Garden will be sailing off in the morning, and then it's back to school. Time to get in that last hurrah!

He should join and do something. Someone would notice. They always did. But he was feeling damn tired for some reason. Weary-- No... He knew the reason. In a few weeks it would be six years to the day that he'd been in this place. Six years since--he'd started this new life. He hadn't told Namur. What could the Fishman do with information like that? Nothing but frown even more fiercely than he naturally did. As far as he was concerned, it was only a date that Thatch needed to know about and after that--
after that--
well he wasn't sure. But maybe he could finally wash the sour taste of this place out of his mouth and replace it with something bearable. For now, though, he rested against a stone pillar, sipped a bottle of whiskey, and watched everyone have fun.
Sorry, I really have her hard pressed all around, I think she likes these guys
"Hey Thatch," she greeted her teacher. "You all right?"
They like her back. <3
"It's just been a long day, string bean. Haven't been right since that damn...cliff thing." He still couldn't shake the feeling that he'd nearly lost everything. Though why he felt that way, who the hell knew?
WOO!
"String bean, heh. Me. It is kinda weird, isn't it, when you have one of those times where everything is all crazy. I think the whole place shifting like that reminded me of home a little. Can't really go to long without some junk going wrong."

"Heard your friend got taken by the time compression. Twilight, right? Must be tough."
no subject
Right. There was that.
"She...she helped me study," Fionna said, trying to find the words and failing. "Like...I never, y'know, thought I was smart. I wanted to sign up for all the beefing up classes, but you can't take em without the basic stuff. So that was bunk, and Twilight helped me. We'd even have pillow fights after and laugh."
She didn't add that she was keeping her room tidy and nice, in case the pony ever came back.

"Maybe you'll meet again. So you better keep your grades up just in case, aye?" Another sip of whiskey. The bottle was almost gone. Damn. "Any other friends then, Miss Fionna? Any friends that are more than friends?" and he gave her a little eyebrow wiggle.
no subject
"Hopefully. I'm glad RD and them are still around." At the last question, she laughed. "No one, unless you cout when the newspaper stuff with me and Pinkie Pie!"
no subject
"Oh that column. You know Namur writes that." A blatant lie for her amusement. "He'll deny it back and forth if you call him on it, but that Fishman will gossip in the drop of a hat."
no subject
That would be like saying that Rainbow Dash secretly liked petting cute, cuddly animals and making baby noises: some things you just know aren't going to ever be.
"You might as well tell me that the party you guys were planning was going to be all ball room and junk."
no subject
"Give him time and give him men and he'll be telling everyone's stories to anyone who will listen. I guarantee that. Ask him about the Fossa incident." Which was only safe to ask since Fossa wasn't here at the moment.
no subject
OK, so maybe Fionna like to gossip a little herself sometimes.

"Hello, Thatch. Are you alright?"
no subject
"Just getting some fresh air." He held up the bottle. "Care for a little nip or two?"
no subject
She walked over to stand next to him. He didn't look to particularly down, but she tended to be concerned when people stepped away when there didn't seem to be a reason for it. "I am too. It'll be a shame to leave this place so soon."

"It also means I have to go back some of the mandatory classes I've been putting off. I can't put them off anymore."
no subject
"After you've graduated it won't be so regimented. You'll be able to get away with a lot more for one thing." He grinned and winked at her. "Maybe we can step out for a night or two in celebration, aye?"
no subject
"Oh I will?" She smiled in response to what he said. "I'd like that. We can definitely go out and celebrate."
no subject
"May I have this dance?"
no subject
"Yes, of course. I would be honored." And she offered him her hand.
sorry for the so so so so so late
"My lady." And then he pulled her in close, but gently, slipping a hand to the small of her back to lead her through the steps. "Tell me, gorgeous, do you know how to waltz?"
It's okay.
"I do actually. I just finished the ballroom dancing classes that they teach."
no subject
"You waltz divinely. I'm sure you have the boys lining up."
