Summary: Rinoa spends some time with Angelo. Cute happens.

[Anyone walking in the Quad is more than welcome to stumble across Rinoa, who's apparently playing catch with her dog Angelo. While there's still the usual "Go fetch" type scenario going on, there's still quite a bit of petting going on too. All in all it's entirely too adorable. Feel free to either get in on the cute or if you want come be a jerk because "omg isn't that a pet or something?!". Take your pick really.

Just... don't kick the puppy. Unpleasant things will happen.]

[So maybe she hadn't paid close enough attention to her gender when naming Angelo. It could have happened to anyone!]

I think that's it anyway. [That's the ones she remembered too, so at least they were thinking the same thing.] Nice to meet you Ace!

[Angelo barked at him, tail wagging at the attention.]

She says it's nice to meet you too.

[Well, tail was of course a relative term as she didn't have much of one, but the picture was still very clear. She was entirely happy with all the attention she was receiving.]

Not usually no, as there's a rule against pets. But Angelo's a special case you see since the headmaster gave us his permission. [Smiling, she ran one hand gently down her companion's back.] She's not a normal dog after all you know, she's super smart!

[Rinoa bursts into laughter at that. Poor guy, she should have realized that he might have thought something like that.

Angelo, for her part, is just glad that her mistress is in a good mood and bumps her face against Ace looking for more attention.]

I wouldn't go that far, but she's more than just a plain, ordinary dog!

[After all how many dogs could claim they had helped save the world?]

[Keep paying attention to the dog, that'll get you more points than flirting ever would. Plus, how can you not pay attention to Angelo? She looks so happy getting all this loving and pets!]

I'm sure that'd be a really nice world though!

How long? I think it's getting close to three years now, though I guess that's twenty-three now technically.

[At this rate the birds will start singing a chorus and random rose petals will start dancing through the clearing.]

I guess so, still it'd be really nice. [Just imagine how cool it would be if Angelo could talk!]

Yeah, we are [She leaned down, ruffling Angelo's ruff fondly.] You're right. I am lucky, I don't know what I would have done if she hadn't made it through too.

[It's super effective!]

You're right, but it'd still be kind of fun even then just because it was new.

[You've just earned yourself a loyal friend for life, Ace.] Yeah, we're all lucky that things worked out the way they did. Sure we might not be in our time exactly, but at least we're together.

[You'll not find cuter on campus, that's for sure.] I guess I hadn't really thought about it. I'm sure your friends and family are fine though! I do, most of my friends are here too, and I'm really glad they're here.

[She grins back down at him, in a great mood now thanks to this little romp with Angelo. it was just what she'd needed considering.] They have so far, I guess you're right about trusting things to work out in the end.

If things go bad, kick things. Right. I think I've got it now. [Rinoa sounds amused even as Angelo's nudging into Ace's leg with what sounds surprisingly like the doggy version of a happy sigh.]
