Summary: Rinoa spends some time with Angelo. Cute happens.

[Anyone walking in the Quad is more than welcome to stumble across Rinoa, who's apparently playing catch with her dog Angelo. While there's still the usual "Go fetch" type scenario going on, there's still quite a bit of petting going on too. All in all it's entirely too adorable. Feel free to either get in on the cute or if you want come be a jerk because "omg isn't that a pet or something?!". Take your pick really.

Just... don't kick the puppy. Unpleasant things will happen.]

[Angelo had come bounding up to him, stopping when the ball rolled to a pause near his feet. Then, curious about the hand that was now in range she snuffled at it curiously before tentatively licking along this stranger's skin for a taste. Kind of salty and all together not bad, they had her approval anyway.

Rinoa, having noticed the entire scenario gave it a little time and then wandered over to see who that was. This certainly looked pretty interesting! Though after a moment she realized that they looked vaguely familiar. Perhaps they had some classes together?]

Hi! I'm Rinoa and this is Angelo...do we have some classes together? You look familiar.

[Sensing that he has the dog's approval, he goes on to pet her on her head while he addresses the woman]

Hi there. I'm Minato, and yeah, I think we share some of the morning classes.

Cool dog, by the way.

Minato. I'll remember that. There's just so many people in the morning classes that it's kind of hard to keep track of who's who after a while.

[Angelo sits down at his feet, more than content to get pets while they talk.]

Thanks. She's really special.

Tell me about it. It's like half the students are taking the same four classes at the same time.

[Minato does find it a bit odd that it's a girl dog named Angelo, but then, maybe that's a name whose gender changes depending on the region. Like 'Yuri'.]

I can tell; she looks like you take good care of her.

It sure feels that way. Maybe they only offer those classes at that time? I never really thought about it before.

[She'd been a little hasty naming Angelo you see, hadn't thought to check her gender before coming up with a name. A little strange maybe, but she liked the name and Angelo did too so what did it matter?]

She takes really good care of me too.

Maybe. [He shrugs. How he manages to do that while scritching Angelo behind the ears is anyone's guess.]

Yeah, dogs take the wellbeing of their pack seriously. The one who lives on the dorms of my previous school is like that, too.

I'll ask later. Maybe Quistis will know. [She kind of writes it off after that, sure it's a curious thing, but nothing to worry about really.]

I guess so. It's just how it's been. I take care of her and she takes care of me. Wouldn't have it any other way and I don't think she would either. [Rinoa leans down then, scratching down Angelo's throat fondly. It's so easy to see how much girl and dog mean to each other by this point, maybe that's one of the reasons why Angelo was allowed on Garden when pets weren't typically.]

[Minato could certainly see why they made an exception for Angelo, true. He retreats his hand, letting girl and dog have their tender moment.]

...you mentioned Miss Quistis. [Not in a way that implies you've just met, he leaves unsaid] Are you friends with her?

[All this and she can fight too! So there's nothing but positive reasons for why Angelo is on the grounds.]

[Looking up Rinoa nodded, she really should have seen that question coming considering. Most people wanted to know where you were from after all and she couldn't say she blamed them.] She's a good friend, we've been through a lot together.
